As someone who felt inadequate to do a voyage when I first started any DoH/DoL, I can only say voyages were surprisingly super fun and addicting, especially with that spectral current
Getting to 10 000 got sigificantly easier with the addition of Dolphins, Seagulls and the 3 Fishing "Sidemissions". However if you open the Ocean Fishing Achievements there are some absolutely mad goals hidden there to fish towards, some which you better bring a coordinated party or a urine bottle. For example to get 1 000 000 total points for the Moira Minion.
