It's laughable they think their malding is going to change the fact FFXIV won what it rightfully deserved.
Fortnite has really been going down hill. The lawsuit they had along with being forced to admit their Among Us game mode was inspired by Among us, not to mention how little the game actually changes in anyway. At most it's just gimmicks and new costumes that will be the 'Big' Update.
The community is actually one of the worst I ever met.The attitude of the community reflects perfectly in the angry Tweets and is basically the norm with them. They wonder why Final Fantasy beat them, they answer their own questions with their posts.

What makes this funnier is that the Game Awards is decided by vote. So the only reason Fortnite didn't win is because its players got complacent and didn't vote. Kids, there is a story called "The Tortoise and the Hare", y'all should read it.
I play Fortnite,ffxiv and genshin impact but I've seen most growth and changes in ffxiv. Fortnite makes so many changes for most part they are ones that aren't good.i still play all three as it stands now but ffxiv just catchs my attention the most with how much there is to do in it.
