  1. Hey editor, maybe you won’t see this but i was just wondering if Ravana EX would be coming up as a video on this channel? Unless its already up on an older video and i just didn’t see it.

  2. Been playing FFXIV since 2.0 came out and I've never encountered these modders outside of when Asmon was talking about them. If you google some of this stuff it's fairly obscure with low activity counts.

They make for good "OMG the scandal" views on YouTube and twitch, but they're good at keeping themselves out of the limelight and unless you put a lot of effort into finding them or happen to be a famous streamer willing to engage, you'll never encounter these folks in FFXIV.

  3. Please delete this video. Such content break the rules of the game, and you put not only the developers of the game in a very uncomfortable position, but also a very large community of players.

  4. I think that's one thing that I really respect about the modding community of ffxiv, especially the cosmetic ones who are in game gear. You actually have to finish some of the savage raids to get some of the truly nicer pieces either way. So it's actually still going to be a grind to get some of that gear that looks amazing modded.
The modding community keeps everything on brand and very much respects the system that they have set up. That's wholesome in a way that I've not seen in many other communities when it comes to modding and they have a lot that caters to everyone's needs and interests which is Way more than I can say about a lot of other video games modding communities.

  5. Considering people were banned off the game with Twitch streamers harassing players with parsing….

Asmongold, you have a higher chance of being banned with this footage. I'd HIGHLY SUGGEST you take it down. Your thumbnail does NOT help your case if they decide to semi or PERMANENTLY ban you from the game. Marks on your account do NOT go away. They are there forever.

You're putting yourself in a very bad spot for not just yourself, but also the modding community as a whole.

Please remove this video for your own safety. That girl has less brains and is a moron for even doing this shit.

    GJ.

  6. As someone who dabbles in this please take this down. This is the kind of stuff that will get modding locked away and people banned. Se doesn't want this shown and will never be okay with it so PLEASE take this down before we all get screwed over

  7. I don’t mind what these people do, as long as it doesn’t impact my game. But I feel that Asmon is highlighting this as the FF community when it isn’t really. The amount of people using FF as a sex site isn’t insignificant but it’s not the norm, and it’s not just ‘having fun’. These guys are breaking terms of service and there’s a lot of rumors about illegal fetishes in these places. Would rather he interviewed normal players but I guess it lacks the shock value.

  8. Sounds like people having fun..and using tools available to them to have fun in a creative fashion. Something that has all but ended in WoW. I don't see any harm as long as nobody is harming anyone.

  9. "… how much money I spent on mogstation. It's sad."
    .
Thats… I dont know man.. thats kinda admirable ngl. To be self-aware enough that what you're doing is actually "sad" but it makes you happy enough so you do it anyways. I wish I could be as passionate like that about something.

  10. WHAT ABOUT DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL, DON'T PEOPLE GET ABOUT THIS KIND OF THING. THIS COULD CAUSE TROUBLE FOR THE WHOLE DAMN FFXIV COMMUNITY. Asmon over here gonna RUIN the game for certain people with this damn video.

  12. I mod, it's cool. Just armor replacers and GShade, no ACT. I have CMT/Anamnesis but I don't use them for posing, just trying out different races/gear. I don't share screenshots or make mods or erp or anything, I just like running around with different stuff, some of which is, yes, nsfw. I do use a body replacer, TTC/BBJ, that turns the lalafell body from potato sack to womanlet, something more akin to a wow goblin or gnome. As someone who has nsfw lalafell mods, it's not quite that the community agrees to not do 'this' or 'that', it's that the main mod archive people use bans 'this' or 'that'. Though it hasn't always been like that, XMA used to host nsfw lala mods, then they went 'ok you can't have nsfw lala content in the preview screenshots because it gets mirrored to our discord, but the mods themselves are fine' then they went 'lala modders gtfo' and now the lalafell modders have their own secret society where if you want NSFW mods you have to show a NSFW screenshot of your lalafell. I don't really engage with the lalacult's community, but I have to join to cult to get even SFW mods.

  13. If the devs crackdown on the modding soon, I'm totally going to blame this video, Asmongold and the modder who did the screenshots. It's against the ToS and the only reason we survive is because we don't fuckin show and tell. They might even ban the modder for posting the screens of another player showing skin that is not supposed to be in-game.

  14. I can totally see people stalking in FF.
I've been a Bunny for a week now with a crop-top, short skirt and thighboots, chilling in Limsa, sitting in queue and multiple people have stood in front of me, expressing, that Bunnygirls are hot, most don't say anything. My favourites are those, that sit down right beside you, even though there is plenty of space on the bench.

  15. One thing that didn't get brought up but is a huge feature of the modding community is that they tend to resolve visual issues in the game WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY before the dev team does it officially. One example is feet without sandals. If you remove your shoes, your character has sandals on. The dev team has been asked in the past if there would be a way to have a barefooted option, and they said that it would be very difficult given that the sandals add a bit of height to the model, alter the geometry of feet because toes aren't rendered at all, just textured, etc. Anyway, within like a month of that statement, there were already mods out for barefooted models that fixed the issue in its entirety, and they've been around for literal years now while the official game refuses to approach a solution. While there are definitely a billion different sexual mods, there are also a large number of cosmetic mods, texture upgrades, upscales, etc. that just improve the graphical quality of life without veering into what some might deem "weird" territory. Have you always wanted a character with cascading, curled hair? Mods can do that. Want your Au Ra tail to be twice as long? Easy with mods. Want your Miqo'te tail wrapped in jewelry and gemstones? Sure thing!

  16. Given how this person downplayed the severity of Mods, I don't hold Asmond 100% accountable.

That said I do want to ask the lady he talked to, WTF WERE YOU THINKING GOING ON A HUGE STREAMER SHOW AND TALKING ABOUT ONE OF THE MOST HUSH HUSH SHIT IN THE GAME????

to paint the community as 99% horny nsfw people when it's actually probably more like 5-10% max, to expose the financial aspects and to then downplay it all like it's not a big deal? The fuq is wrong with you?

To jeopardize the entire community for some clout…

  17. yeah keep this hush hush but talk to someone who will likely show this to several 100k people to give it a lot more notice to Square Enix to really crack down on this, ladies and gentlemen this modder has reached extreme numbers of retard
