  1. I prefer the 24 man raids in FFXIV to it's 8 man and WoW's raids. It has just enough "trash" and scenery to make it more immersive, while also being convenient. If they did a Savage version of them, I think that would be fun.

  2. Rurikhan you look like you have lost a TON of weight since the last video I watched of yours. A big problem with the item level is the fact that you cant get into certain things or groups if your ilvl isn't to the PLAYERS standards. For instance this week is the 4 mythic dungeon week event. I was in a group where the lead literally said they will not take anyone under 270. Imagine how that feels to people who want to get into those dungeons. Keep in mind this is 0 not +1 etc. I wish the gear overall would be done how it was in TBC. Heroic loot actually meant something and depending on spec even blue gear was BIS until t6 (i.e. hunters and ret paladins). Also the +X should not really increase the gear ilvl by much aside from say an achievement or as Accolon says cosmetic. Now I sit back and wait for the WoW andy's to rage. /Throws some popcorn in the microwave.

  3. The “what about esports “ argument is what got world of Warcraft in its state. If they cared about the game for none esports players in pve and pvp. Pvp could been the only esports they have if they knew how to balance without nerfing a class to the gates of hell

  4. 25:04 He is a failure of a dev who couldnt balance a scale with no weights on it if his life depended on it. The first thing he did whenever he joined riot was ruining the runepaper system which then eventually got discarded and Aatrox.

  5. I'm still waiting for Acco to play FFXIV again he stopped for a while now.

The problem with Action MMO raiding that isn't a over the head (diablo/lost ark/PotE) is that they can't do it like WoW and FFXIV. why? because in action RPG, you wanna zoon in closer to your character so you can be close enough to hit enemies since the hit box of the bosses are closer to the model. Where as tab targeting bosses hit box is way larger than the model so you zone out as far as you can so you can see all the mechanics. Until action MMO can figure out a way of fixing this issue, the raid will mostly be as close to DPS races as possible with minor environmental or attacks that don't come from the bosses, if you wanna know how hard that is, just zoom in on FFXIV and WoW to how most action MMO have to play at, and your notice, you get him by alot of mechanic because you don't see them, its the closer you get to playing raids in FFXIV/WoW in first person view, its not recommended.

  6. I know Accolonn considers himself a chatting streamer more than a gaming one, but it feels like the discussion sometimes falls a little flat on FFXIV since he's been behind for a while… I guess that's not a very fair thing to say, but it would be nice to see him pick it back up. His previous comments on what he had played so far were quite interesting

  7. I like how Rurikhan softly pushed Acco on his hot take. Instead what should have happen is Ruri should have asked him if he's done any of the XIV end game raids even just the normal modes and Binding Coil to even get a feel for how XIV does raid content. Since there's little to no evidence that Acco has ever touched into those raids on his channel and clips nor is current and doing end-game. You cannot just discuss endgame if you've not been to it at all (even if its previous end game content).

Let alone Acco is going on hearsay probably from his chat who are a bunch of WoW andys to begin with giving him bad information and probably information that's been built up by trolls over the years.

In all…kind of disappointed in this episode.

  8. I"f Blizzard gets into the Mobile Market… they will not do very well. At least in the long term. Archlight, Immortal, and probably something SC all will do well initially. Drain their remaining fans and hook a few whales. Yet there are LESS scummy mobile games that give you more items for playing and have better rates. And the best part is, they have Waifus and Husbandos. Current day Blizzard would never shoot Nova into a Bikini because it would sell. That would be sexist. I mean it technically is but that shit sells.

I mean with as good as DI has been, it dropped off the face of the earth. I hear more about the next Genshin character and I don't even play that game. DI for a Mobile game is already floundering. Yet Blizzard with Live service games area always slow on the releases, so why am I not surprised.

  9. WoW raiding better because of Mythic? Come on now, how many people actually mythic raid in WoW? 0.what percent of the playerbase? For the vast majority in both games, FF raiding much better because it doesn't waste your time with trash and run backs and you don't need 5 addons to even be able to raid.

  10. Twitch is so dumb, if some person links a thousand people to your channel through a third-party platform, they consider that organic and that will count towards your "partnership" or whatever, but if a fellow twitch streamer raids you with the same number of people, they immediately discount that influx of interest as somehow gaming the system. How does that make sense?

  11. Rekieta Law was banned on twitch, because someone on twitch was streaming his content from youtube, reported it on twitch, resulting in Rekieta being banned for 7 days on twitch for stuff he didnt even do on twitch.
Also there was a mass report campaign against Rekieta Law youtube channel, where he got 3rd youtube strike and account deleted, but that was reverted after few days of outcry on twitter.
Both platforms (twitch and youtube) have a "mob rule" policy, as long as there is enough "crying" on social media they will ban/unban people. The problem is when small creators get banned and cant get enough people to support them by taging team youtube on twitter to revert the ban.

  12. Disagree with FF14 isn't "strong" endgame. In fact FF14 has many endgames based on player's preference. This is how it should be, letting players themselves choose what kind of endgame they want instead of forcing player's endgame only to be raiding. The idea that endgame is only raiding is really WoW brain. Get off it.

  13. Maybe it's just really early in the morning but @rurikhan does it not seem a bit inconsistent to not care or want the high end gear from ff14 but want the most min maxed option available in monster hunter. Does it have to do with have difficult acquisition is or am I missing something?

  14. I've seen professional fish handlers take their fish out multiple times for basic care when they are sick and showing these things to viewers for learning purposes. I'm more worried about the cat throwing bc the "cats always land on their feet" isn't totally true and they can get messed up if they get thrown and land at the wrong angle.

The convo this is tied to is part of why I will never be a twitch watched. Youtube is bad enough as it is.

  15. As a side note, in regards of the weapons from the ultimates in XIV, the fun fact is that those weapons are actually the best weapons available in the patch they release (in regards of Ilvl)
