  1. #2 is a waste of time unless you’re going to play all day and undercut literally every 5 minutes. The bots are absolutely insane. They have 1 level 90 and all crafters leveled. Not a single level in anything else or other jobs unlocked. I don’t know why it’s so hard for SE to catch this. They have gofer accounts fetching mats and I’ve actually caught multiple of them using the auto-undercut cheat.

Try #2 and you’ll see for yourself. It’s fun when you actually get a sale but it’s way to time consuming.

  2. Theres also the blue mage strat like leves doesn't require marketboard, but you can make 500 some k a day, although would only recommend if time isn't really an object bc it takes 2 and a half hours

  3. I pretty much just stick to leves and selling what’s easy to get, some glams and craft raid food and pots as materia MB is lousy. Like you said many players are on break but raider still buy pots and food.

  4. A lot of these strategies are glossing over the most important part – actually SELLING the stuff you make. It's not just a handwave "make it and it will sell" sort of thing. Depending on what you are trying to sell, you could be competing with dozens to hundreds of different players all trying to get the same four or five sales per day. If you aren't willing to sit on the retainer bell and update your prices every few minutes, forget about making any real income off of crafted gear, expensive housing pieces or endgame food.

If you want to make actual gil in this game, ignore this video. Level a miner, or a botanist or a fisher to like 30-35 or so, and then just focus on gathering the lower level materials that nobody is interested in gathering anymore. I'm talking things like granite, silver/cobalt ore, oak logs, stuff like that. Even better if you can get your retainers in on it. Then sell them at the going rate on the marketboard in smaller stacks. Sure, each sale is small fry compared to the big crafts, but you will watch those mats fly off the shelf faster than you could possibly restock them. These level 30-50 ARR mats are used in so many crafts, the demand is huge and the supply is always lacking. No investment, no risk, just pure profit.

  5. I make and sell Magitek Repair Materials for repairing subs, I prefer selling consumable items like this instead of things like sub parts or housing items because there's ALWAYS high demand. I hate having to keep checking an item 7 times a week only for it to not sell.

  6. Thanks as always for this Ashe. I would throw in 1 other amazing way to make Gil, and that's doing weekly Unreal Trial for Faux Hollow Leaves, and selling the minions. They sell for 6 – 8 million gil each, and for just 2-3 weeks of unreal trial (+ re-telling), I've been making 6-8 million gil every 3 weeks or so, consistently. 🙂
