  1. I had the honor of lending my voice to this project! Seeing it come together was absolutely astounding and I'm blown away by how much work went into it. Everyone did an incredible job — including the time and patience that must have gone into editing it all together. I'm delighted you enjoyed it!

  2. I have to say "Thank you!" to the people who made this request in my stead.

Literally, the second thought that popped in my head after watching was that somebody should totally request this video for Jesse's Auditorium. I'm glad I got to see this today!

  3. I'm so glad you did that. That brought tears to my eyes! It wasn't just the music and the memories of the game. It's really about watching people coming together who share a love for something and making something great together. Separately we may not run into anyone like us with our interests and talents, but YouTube gives us so much reach to find your community and feel understood and seen. I hope you feel like that, even a little bit with us watching your reactions.

  4. Hi Jesse.
I just saw your reaction to Wild Arms again and, after hearing you say about the Dollar Trilogy, I just searched YouTube for the theme and loved it.

Them I remembered, I really think you would love The Sawmill from The Outlaws.

  5. I've been looking forward to this since you mentioned it in an earlier video. One thing I really enjoy with react videos is seeing if songs from the game have the same emotional impact without the context of the moment it comes from. This collab has me choking down sobs every time, I really hope you enjoyed it

  6. Yo you reacted to this, that's AWESOME ! If you're open to react more at this kind of medley videos from time to time, check out FreddeGredde's work it's some of the highest quality video game medleys I've ever heard, + you would learn about a lot of interesting tracks you might have never heard before.

  7. Limsa Lominsa, Gridania and Ul'dah, are the names of the three cities in which you can start the game, and the tracks with the same names are the overworld themes you hear while being in said cities. That's also why they pop up so early in that colaboration.

  8. So, so glad you watched this <3

In your spare time, if you want to hear that amazing cover of "Scream" ("The Tireless One") – it's on Husky's channel, with Ariah (the same singer) and it is *chef's kiss*.

  9. The first few songs, the main city songs, are super underrated because people will spend most of their time in the cities. Ul'dah ("A New Hope") is my favourite because it's one of those that feels like the beginning of a journey (I feel Ul'dah is the "canon location" where your character's story is meant to begin if you follow canon storylines) with the night time version ("Sultana Dreaming") is so gentle compared to it and really sleepy, just perfect for chilling out in.

  10. Thank you for reacting and listening to this! That was a great surprise!

Husky did do such an amazing job with this. Kudos to him indeed!
It was an honor to play a bit part in this and will always gladly do it again if I get another opportunity.

Also, I've tried to get one of these guitars too but they were sold out so quickly, I had no chance.

  11. Very grateful for the artists for this mind-blowing project. Thanks for the exception to make the video, and glad you enjoy. And you covered a lots already. This community is really such a precious place, and I am quite sure you are well involved.

  12. Husky also made another one, where he got 1000 singers together, among others the woman who sang the deeper voice of A Beautiful Song for Nier Automata. You should check that out to, even if it's just to watch/listen by yourself without putting it on the channel.
Something I find fascinating is the spread of people you see here. From youngsters, to people using vTuber avatars to people beyond 40 years in age, all united by a single "game" albeit calling FF14 merely a game falls short to what it means to many of us.

I love the shirt of the guy who plays the Xylophon with just one hand. ^^

I wish someone could get Soken and Yoshi P into a room, show them this medley and record their reaction.

  13. I'm so glad you got to do this! I know you haven't listened and you caught it in the list, but there's 4 versions of Heroes — Heroes, Heroes Never Die, an orchestra version of Heroes, and a Primals band version of Heroes. Had I the time or money I'd slap all four together in a request 'cause I'd love to hear what you think of any of them. Related to those songs I'm surprised no one has requested Revenge Twofold or it's orchestral counterpart, they're like the Torn from the Heavens of the Heavensward expansion (so expect to hear the Heavensward leifmotifs!). Surely one way or another those songs will reach you someday! Thank you for doing what you do and I'm so happy you got a glimpse of FFXIV's musical community.
