You can find your lost, missplaced, or never aquired (if you boosted) Aether compass at Rhal’gar’s Reach in Gyr Abania! Coords: 14.3 9.6
Talk to Gaufrid and you will be on your way!!!!
I hope this helps you as it took me days too find it.
