  1. I really wish I could enter hardcore raiding in FFXIV. But my time of day and week that I play I can never find a static. I’ve just decided I’ll probably never get savage clears and just focus on other content. The fights do look so fun though!

  2. Who I play with has been a big factor in my first savage experience. I floated through a lot of PFs and a lot of Discords, floating off after factors of scheduling and interest and availability of jobs. Even now in a static I've set roots down, I'm thinking of leaving because the results we get together are very inconsistent and I'm not meshing well with their attitude of playing off mistakes and failures when I believe I can find consistency somewhere else. We barely reclear P1S consistently and my static has NEVER recleared P2S and I end up getting it from PF.

I'm very midcore because still finding a static is an issue for me, so relying on proven strategies and better gear a few times a week with inconsistent experiences is just how I have to deal with it until I find better recruitment.

  3. This is how my static plays 100%. I put together a hardcore static for this tier from a bunch of friends who were all in different midcore statics and wanted to go faster and do more. We cleared week 1 for the first time each of us, and we've all pretty much quit now that we're all BIS. Its a really bitter-sweet feeling, coming from raiding for almost the entire tier because of slow prog, to having so much free time and being "done." Wish there were more incentives to keep raiding, especially when it comes to helping newer people.

  4. The people who can make it to p4s in party finder in 2 weeks are the kind of people who can clear it in 2 weeks. It gets worse the longer you wait. I play on Crystal and it has a bad rep but the people who commit to pf are solid af.

My static cleared p3s for the first time tonight. I've been clearing p4s since 8 weeks ago in pf. I've met great people and learned a lot and improved as a player and had fun!

(and expanded my blacklist by about 100 people, kapp fishy I'm looking at you)
