  7. Summoner won! Easy decision on that! I can't wait to go back to my old class! Summoner became meh to me after we lost class quests but this easily makes me go idgaf I can't wait to play it!!!

  9. I've been maining SMN throughout ShB, which I have yet to complete, and I will be sticking with SMN for the launch of EW. Reaper and Sage look interesting, and I'll give them a try, but SMN won the day.

  11. SCH main so after I was done being upset for not getting a 🧚 rework I reread the adjustment and am actually pretty happy.

    Speed and DAMAGE REDUCTION cast to a specific party member?

    This is gonna come in REAL handy for Savage raids!

  12. Monk is my favourite dps and I like the changes, Reaper looks amazing, and Summoner finally feels like a real summoner, it will be the first caster I will level up, as always, but this time I will prioritise it before the ranged jobs

  17. the only way i wouldve been happy with dots continuing in smn is if tridisaster was and instacast spell, so smn didnt have to waste so much time after hitting that level.

  18. Unpopular opinion maybe, but I enjoyed the affliction lock playstyle on SMN mid ARR. After that it has been quite the rollercoaster.
    I don't even have a "main" anymore so I'll get to it eventually.

  24. As someone who plays all three casters, Summoner for me, there were some nice changes for the other casters (enochian as a trait, new AF/UI extender black mage and AOE finishers for red mage) but Summoner took the show. So excited to play it when endwalker drops

  27. I wasn't sure I was gonna level my last 2 tanks before EW (WAR and PLD.) After seeing them in the job trailer I felt like I had no choice but to play them. Excited for summoner, but idk if I care to play dps jobs too much anymore since I have switched to tank and healer.

  28. I agree with ya'll! I am going Reaper, Sage, then Summoner! I think Summoner now can compete with BLM & RDM but we will see! I am happy that Summoner is loosing its dots, I hated those! I could definitely see Summoners getting another toggle to get Shiva, Odin, & such in the future!

  45. As a SCH main… things are actually a lot better than the memes suggest. The peleton has a damage mitigation portion which was confirmed so it's got a use. The 1.5s broil is unbelievably huge for weaving oGCDs and SCH entire healing kit is basically oGCD so it's a really big deal. They also showed an instant deployment tactics which may make it usable(right now galvanize takes a bit to show up so you have to hold deployment delaying GCDs). They also had fae blessing go off a lot quicker than usual so some updates to pet usability. And we are getting an instant cast buff… no idea if it's oGCD or what the actual buff is but it looked kinda shieldy which would be amazing if the barrier healer actually used barriers and didn't just have as many HoTs as a WHM lol.

ALL I KNOW IS MONK… AND I AM BEYOND HAPPY… JUST THE NO POSITIONAL NEED ON TWIN SNAKES AND SNAP FIST AND I WAS SOLD, BUT THEN BOOTSHINE IS STACKED PASSIVE AND TRUE NORTH NOW POPS AN ENDER AND THERE IS A YING YANG BAR WITH GOODIES! LOOKS LIKE MONK FINALLY IS BALANCED WITH THE OTHER MELE BUT STILL KEEPS SOME DIFFICULTY AND NUANCES BUT NOT JUST A MESS THAT WAS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO ROTATE OPTIMALLY WITH ANY CONSISTANCY. MAKES IT MORE VIABLE FOR PVP I WOULD SAY AS WELL ESPECIALLY THE GAP CLOSER AND LESS POSITIONAL NEEDS.
