I’m sure many of us who have been on this journey with blizzard have realized the game isn’t going in the direction we had hoped. This is my reasons why I quit. If you wanna catch me Live and watch me play some incredible FFXIV come check me out at http://Twitch.tv/Arkaviun

  1. I could never play WoW for more long.
I have been playing FF14 without losing a sub day for 5 years now.

That said, FF14 is a different experience. It is a mmo jrpg. Turns out, that clicked with me way more than WoW.

  2. WoW players are starting to become unplugged from the Matrix (WoW). They're trying other games, and now witnessing what WoW has deprived them of. Be it FF14, New World, or any other MMO, that fear of leaving that toxic relationship is now behind them. When I left for FF14 six months ago, I was nervous, alone, and mocked by my WoW "friends". Now i'm no longer angry, stressed, and now I always carry a smile. "Sometimes what you're most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free".

  3. Looks like you did the right thing. The whole "frat boy" culture story about blizzard is really gonna destroy blizzard's reputation…not like it has anymore but still.

  4. Retail is literally a chore to play. They have somehow turned the game into something I hate doing more than my own job…. Truly inept and negligent developers

  5. Those early gripes fade over time. In the long run, those sections that "dragged" will eventually be such a small part of the experience that you'll find your complaints about them silly. I see them as less and less of a problem as the years pass.

  6. I played from start of burning crusade to end of draenor. Almost exclusively pvp, I quit cause of map imbalances, pvp always in the backseat and just a general lack of balance between classes

  7. I have calculated all my money i have been giving Blizzard under all this years with 7 acc and all the expansions..

Its 14683.17USD.. 17years.. and I have played it even longer due to closed/Open beta in 2003..

I feel so many things.. sad, angry, lost, betrayed yeah the list is long… 😢😢😢

But with the recent events and all.. I have canceled everything and uninstall the game.
I feel sorry for them who have not done anything wrong at Blizzard but I can't support that company anymore.

I'm sorry, but I hope things gets WAY better for Blizzard but as i feel right now.. I will never return.. Enough is enough!

  8. I went to ffxiv from wow like 2 weeks ago, and having a blast, not rushing at all, enjoying msf quests, blue side quests, gold saucer, and other things, what i like about this game is there is no need to rush to endgame like in wow to flex best armors and weapons in front of others, also low level trials, dungeons still active due to duty roulettes, so old content is not dead unlike in wow, you get to enjoy each zone, and come back to them countless times, and not just rush tru and never come back.

  9. I started playing wow at the end of classic so only slightly longer than you. I left 3 years ago for many of the same reasons. I moved to FFXIV 3 years ago and have not regretted the decision for even one day. Welcome to FFXIV. May you walk in the light of the crystal.
