I feel like nintendo completely squandered the potential of Blue Protocol. What a flipping waste of an otherwise promising game.

Ad thing is not immersive. There needs to be a law against it, right away. You can't create a program etc. and earn trust only to abuse people with it later, that is criminal behavior. Anyone who creates smth like unity must KNOW that doing so is illegal. Should be.
The real reason why because Square Enix keep making bad choices and lost billions of money, of course its not gonna be free to play.

And after many years (since the first glimpse of the game) of waiting for Blue Protocol… I am officially done …before it ever releases in my region (or a region I could at least VPN to without being banned) Well done. Almost a perfect blue print for how not to make a successful MMO.
Kind of like how Unity just gave a perfect blue print of how to drive everyone to their competitors. I ponder if it would even be legal in the EU – since the level of privacy intrusion they would need to 'collect the necessary data' to charge the crazy money they wish to might not work there. Genuinely curious.
Amazon killed my interest in BP. Ill just have to wait and see if we ever get an actually good anime mmo that isn't ran into the ground when ported to the US
I'm confused lol. Why is Io from Code Vein in the thumbnail? The game she's featured in isn't even in the same genre of games featured in this vid.
Anyways, lost all desire to play blue protocol. I used to be pretty interested and even excited for it, but ever since that absolutely dreadful developer livestream a few months ago I've stepped away from the hype train. Amazon's censorship was the coffin, but that livestream and the devs' incompetence were the nails and the hammer.
See I liked Riders of Icarus "in concept" but the way it was executed was terrible!

If FFXIV went F2P I'd probably come back because $15 to be bored with stale, slow combat and reskinned bosses and skills gets boring and predictable real fast lol

Yeah nothing excited me here. Probably to do with my birthday coming up soon, and a lot of unfortunate reality checks hit me in the face…
But anyway, I do play FFXIV so that news wasn't too surprising. The Star Rail news just reminded me to at least put some time in that game again since last time I was on I got Kafka but then vanished. Overall I just feel more jaded that usual, so "maybe" 2024 will have a good anime MMO to play…otherwise I guess I'm just gonna have to cope with Genshin or something..thank you for the info as usual Styx.
I hope FFXIV never changes to F2P. That would mean pay to win.

Man, BP went from the most looked forward to MMO to an afterthought.
FF14 cant be f2p since their server software have limited scalability. if it f2p then it will be way worse than previous over capacity issue that made they need to stop selling copies
As for Unity…RIP… Unreal Engine 5.3 is amazing.
I'm not a console player, but it makes me happy seeing developers starting to ditch the old gen consoles as that (at least in theory) should mean better games for PC when they don't have to be scaled down to fit old consoles.

Kinda just loseing any hype I had for blue protocol even more months by months like i was hype then censersord was the first strike to ms 2 would probably be this mobile mess if it comes out on Xbox i probably still try it but i don't really care as much
