I’m new to FFXIV and I’d love to hear your feedback.
In this Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker let’s play we experience a wide range of emotions as the Scions wrap up their adventures in Thavnair. It’s time to see what Fandaniel and Zenos are up to.

Vrtra is clearly just priming you for the tears to come! Also, I share your horror at the wounds Vrtra incurred to provide those scales. I can only imagine it'd be like ripping off dozens of your own fingernails…
Fun facts time:
1. The portal you see with Estinien is from the treaure maps for this expansion. Basically, you get an "X marks the spot" map that summons monsters to defeat for treasure. If you're lucky, a portal then opens for more treasure opportunities.
2. The conversation with Vrtra in this episode is one place where your optional raid experience changes dialogue options slighty. "I only wish he could be here with us now…" is an option you only get if you did Omega, since Midgardsomr is pretty involved in that.
3. When Nidhana speaks of Akasha, she mentions that it is said to be "torn from the heavens." In FFXIV there is a musical track by that same name that in ARR, played in the hardest FATEs and a few other places.
4. Speaking of akasa, this is one of the first places where they heavily hint at the nature of the "Limit Break" when discussing how warriors on the battlefield sometimes "transcend their limits."
5. Maybe not a fun fact, but I think the conversation between Fandaniel and Zenos may be worth revisiting later. Besides glimpses into their motives/personality, I think that FFXIV does a good example of making both the heroes and villains highlight some of the key themes of the story.
