  1. Y'Shtola's embarassing secret

She used to want to be a magical girl as a young kid/teen. Matoya treating her like a youngling makes ever more sense

Also the centuries old dragon just blue screened

Vrtra: I have lived thousands of years, gone to every corner of this realm, watched civilizations rise and fall, fought all manner of horrendous beasts, and survived many apocalypses. But there are no words, in any language I know off, to describe what the fuck I just witnessed.

  3. You can only imagine the kind of hell that would about if Thancred ever hears about this. That would be a another Umbral Calamity in itself.

    Might be worth it though…

  4. The funny thing is, if you did Matoya's Relic with Y'shtola as a trust, when confronting the Nixie she comments on how she conceived it when she was younger. Was very nice to see them come back to that.

  5. I believe at this point, if you talked to Estinien before starting the scene, he comments about having to scrap a few more machines that got away.
…when they were already trying to reset the security systems.

  6. You know what I love about this patch? Looking at Nidhana chastising Vrtra for keeping the voidbucket a secret, and the bit with the guards at the end of the patch gives such a clear picture of how the people of thavnir really see Vrtra: they generally don't.

That kid who accidentally called him Varshann when he revealed himself was saying the quiet part out loud. They all see Vrtra as the incredibly helpful, smart, and professional kid he was masquerading as. An entire country saw a dragon was their benevolent ruler for centuries and said "I love you too, lil buddy". And honestly, I think that's great after Nidhogg, Tiamat, and Hrasvalgr. Makes me wonder how the Merecidiyans got along with Bahamut.

  7. I really love this side of Y'shtola they are showing. As much as I love her, I have to admit she has gotten the least amount of characterization. I hope they keep delving into her character more as the expansion goes on!
