It’s the first time, when the biggest criticism for Final Fantasy I have is the text and font in the cutscenes. It’s a definitely close to excellent MMO experience from a new player perspective.

Welcome to Eorzea! Your Race stats, Guardian Deity, and Birthday don't seem to have an in game purpose at this time, but I think at one point in it's history they were more important, now they're more flavor. 🙂 Voice acting is pretty rough in the first expansion but gets noticeably better in later expansions. Much, much later, ( After you finish the base game of A Realm Reborn) you'll encounter Alliance Raids, which are 24 person Raids, which are fun chaos. There's actually someone called the Smith next to the Inns in the starting City States who can teach you the basics of how to perform your class as you're approaching group content, and if you have not yet done so, it's good to do, especially for the Brand New Ring (?) which gives a significant xp buff up to lvl 30, and can be worn by all your other jobs, which you can play on the same character. Many, but not all cosmetics start as free items from in game events, others are just funsies things, or useful things, but there really doesn't seem to be any incentive to pay if you don't want to. I would advise against purchasing any skips though, at least on your first play through, as things will not make sense without the context of the story that takes it's time to build.
All in all, Great Vid, and I truly hope you enjoyed your visit with us, and come back to spend more time here! 🙂
