I’m a newbie to final fantasy online myself so might be some more tips and tricks out there, but these work very well for me for leveling fast and is a good place to get started ^^

  2. I think it’s at 20 you unlock the GC and your chocobo. I love the game but I’m all over with the job (Archer, Conjurer, etc). And then the crafting. And on top of that, you have to do your Main Scenario Quests (MSQ) and your job quests. Oh and make sure you get retainers. After you do a quest to find a missing venture you get one of your own (I actually have two which helps a lot). It’s like a human bank, they can sell or buy stuff for you on the Market, and send them off on Ventures. My brain explodes.
