our ffxiv drama experience that we want to share with everyone about an fc.
there are alot of disturbing issues in the ffxiv community taking this game too seriously, that it needs to be addressed.
we share our experience in this video.

Liked to appease the algorithm gods but just to clarify its not to say "do more drama content" xD
having watched the previous drama video you posted it makes things alot more clear, im glad you guys got out of there, ive stayed in guilds/clans/groups ect similar to the one you guys were in from the sounds of it, in the sense that there was alot of manipulation, backstabbing and drama going on and i can say from experience its pretty rare for the people stoking the flames and causing the drama to actually change and grow as a person. instead things just calm down for a month or two and then the cycle repeats and all the manipulation and backstabbing starts up again.
As for the offence thing you talked about, personally i feel like people get feelings and facts mixed up a bit to much when it comes to offence. Offence cant be given, not for certain, it can only ever really be taken, someone can say all the horrible stuff they want to me but ultimately its my choice whether or not i let myself get offended, someone cant say something that will 100% guaranteed offend me because i can always choose to just say "i dont care what you think or have to say"
Sucks that you guys were basically forced to leave by the sounds of it though, im sure not everyone in that fc/discord were horrible people towards you guys, just trying to manipulate others and its never easy when some big issue causes a divide where you have to pick a side whether you want to or not.
I dont know if you guys already know this or not so ill mention it just to be safe but you can have an fc with only 3 members, and have an fc house with only 3 aswell, you would need to ask someone to temporarily join your fc to bring you up to 4 members since you need 4 members for the creation of a fc and for buying or relocating, but once you have the fc created or have the fc plot purchased that 4th member can safely leave without it causing any issues. i actually ended up doing exactly that with 2 of my friends and we just asked nicely in limsa if anyone who wasnt in an fc already would mind helping us create one and then again when we had saved up enough gil to purchase a plot.
wanna rp?
being Nigel Nomates with a solo FC and no in-game friends to do things with, it gets very lonely but then stories like this remind me not to get caught up daydreaming about how green the grass might be on the other side
Randomly got to this vid, but that sucks lol. These kinda drama ain't all that uncommon unfortunately. Majority would disagree with me in public but I've played MMOs since I was a wee kid and I do feel FFXIV's community is babied too much, there are a lot of sensitive snowflakes and closet creeps around (I guess that makes sense given the fact that we have so many ERPers).
Personally I found it so hard to find 'normal' people who doesn't have the low EQ of someone who has never learnt to properly socialize with people that I made my own FC centered around the idea of gathering 'normal' people lol.
I agree that a lot of FC leaders take stuff way too seriously and sometimes all the rules and systems they made work well but often times they let it get to their head and/or it inevitably leads to dynamics that indirectly encourages some kinda drama to sprout.
Idk, some people are just too hung up on trying to put on a nice act (probably due to peer/social pressure) when they really shouldn't.
P.S. Nice char btw.
This community is so eager to help but they also want something from you, it's not about being nice it's about seeming nice.
I've met bitter people who want all of your attention at all times, people with issues that bog everyone else down, but people who are amazingly funny and/or helpful or just cool.
Just ignore the bad ones and move on they are many and they don't matter, your experience is most important, how you want to play is most important.
But don't let this dissuade you from joining free companies… The first one I ever joined was the cause of some of the most fun I've ever had in my history of playing games, met so many friends helped people, people helped me it was great.
Just understand that and you will be fine.
My advice, keep a comfortable distance until you learn more about them, then you can do whatever! Ultimately for clarification you did nothing wrong, just my opinion from experience!
I don't know how the hell youtube recommended this video to me but im here for the drama
Bro you sound toxic af.
I love it. Reminds me of me lmao
Boy does this sound like a power tripping FC lead to me, just learn from the experience and move.
But most important just stay your true self and don't give a damn about the haters 😀
Treat others the way you wish to be treated
Judge only by the measure you use for yourself
Do not Give what will be missed
Leave no trace for those that would forget you, Leave it Better for for those that would remember you
Yall seem to be the source of the Drama. How the hell yall talk about nothing for like a half hour… Dude probably offended a troon and got someone upset. It ain't that deep. Don't join a group that bends the knee.
