  5. Why even put Blue Mage on the list? We're so overpowered that we're not allowed to go into content with the other kids because we'd smash their toys. There's no reason to ever include us in stuff like this.

    When you play Blue Mage, you're going in to intentionally break shit. You're going in to Doom the boss and watch as his timer runs out. You're going into freeze every enemy in your way and shatter them to pieces. We're not a job, we're the solution.

  6. As a Samurai main you're completely wrong Samurai takes the highest IQ to play and it is a job only suited for geniuses such as myself. Stephen Hawking probably played Samurai if he played Final Fantasy XIV in his spare time, which he probably didn't have much because he was doing math and stuff probably. But if he did play he would most likely play Samurai as it is easily the job that takes the most skill and intelligence to play and also has a katana which is really cool and he probably would like that too.

  13. Samurai does have a high skill ceiling, if you want to do consistent high damage in savage and extreme content just doing stickers isnt gonna do shit. Most people think they can get away with doing stickers though, and they end up a 18k dps samurai while people laugh at them for not even out dpsing bard. If you wanna do good with that job you still have to learn rotations, manage the kenki for ogcd, hit your positionals and time your burst windows with party buffs (and lets be real since you re probably dance partnered you re gonna have to time with that as well).
    But its definitely not as hard to learn as some other classes in the game. The rotations are pretty simple, and there is a handy list for how much filler you have to use according to your GCD. You can learn that shit in like a day or two at most if you look up guides and read stuff on the balance discord.
    Now if we re talking levelling roulettes and dungeons, samurai might as well be the most braindead class in the game, along with dancer, and bard. literally just press 1,2,3 and you re golden.

  19. You're all laughing about SAM being "easy", but go an try to maximize your dps in savage content, then we'll talk again.
    Believe it or not, managing your global cooldown in order to align with all other burst phases is hard af and works different for every fight because of downtimes etc
