Hiya Peebs! Here's that scene where Emet talks about Amaurot, then says "not like you'd remember any of this.." from Shadowbringers. I love callbacks like that!

What a great day to be sad. . .
Will we be seeing a video of your views on this 'strong female character'?
During emets history lesson in shadowbringers, ive always questioned venats reason for sundering. Why sunder and ruin a perfect world ? Why make everyone suffer? Thats why i didnt trust her in the beginning of endwalker.
But that scene when she’s walking in the darkness( omg that scene) was heartbreaking and it finally answered my question.
Thou Must Live Die and Know is the most powerful cutscene I’ve ever seen and it constantly brings me tears. “Yours is a neverending quest”, highlighting that each of us will know suffering and tragedy..but we must continue on and move forward, for the sake of those we love and cherish..
To live is to suffer <—- truth 💯
This part of EW was hands down the best. It answered so many questions and just OMG the feels. I can’t wait for new game + for endwalker to just experience this part again.
5.0 Emet-Selch: "You cannot be entrusted with our legacy."
6.0 Emet-Selch: "Do not squander it. The legacy I leave you."
Love the echo here, love the irony, really feel the tragedy of a man named Hades who gave his entire lifetime – and every ounce of his very life – to save his people and the world itself. Even when we were on opposite sides, Emet-Selch did everything he could for the sake of others. Over the course of his existence, poor Hades… I'd dare say he Lived, Died, and Knew. 😞
Thank you for finishing Elpis last night. Sorry to keep you up
late😅
