  1. I usually raid on MCH, something I know
This time around I wound up getting stuck in with Pictomancer, and this song slotted the last piece in for me because I couldn't help but learn the rotation as the fight went on just to show off while hype music is playing.

  2. Was watching the chat while he nailed the song and lol guy thinks this was a super fate theme when its stage 4 Arcadion. Also this is one of the best songs added in Dawntrail nobody changing my mind.

  3. not sure when this was streamed but too bad you only had the video with the incorrect lyrics instead of the updated one with official lyrics that was uploaded about a week ago

  4. It never fails to amuse me how ffxiv lyric videos always have the wrong lyrics. Even the songs that are reasonably clearly spoken english will usually get caught by the uncommon dialect Soken uses as he tries to make the songs sound distinctly Eorzean in nature.

  5. Arcadion raid series spoilers, show more at your own risk.

I didn't notice on my first listens because the song slaps, but when you pay attention to the lyrics, it is interesting when you tie it in to Wicked Thunder's story. If you can recall the events of the story, basically the repeated use of a feral soul causes your soul to degrade, aka pyschonekrosis, which according to Eutrope, you can only await a sooner death with no cure. There are no such things as the "immortalized", which is just a cover up of these fighters' deaths as they are discarded and the next fighters arise.

The song sounds like it gives an application of this knowledge in Eutrope's / Wicked Thunder's life after realizing her soul was degrading, and it is quite chilling when you come to the realization that it's probably Eutrope herself singing this song. It's hard to break it down because there's a lot of lyrics, but to me, it describes the journey of a poor, innocent soul that fulfilled her dreams, yet realizing it was not as big as it was made out to be. This is her song of fighting back in her own way while subtly sprinkling in a plea for the suffering to stop.

she also sang 'Legends Never Die' from League of Legends
and 'Hero Too', Jiro's song from My Hero Academia S4
