  1. This is why I hate the "gogogo" mentality to shave 1-2 minutes off a dungeon. It's unnecessarily stressful on the healer for minimal gain, and if the healer makes a tiny mistake, the party wipes and then that 1-2 minutes shaved is entirely erased.

  2. as healer is is our decision whether we all live or we wipe, and you will respect my decision to wipe all of us because i can, also its CLEARLY the tanks fault for not using mits <3

  3. Stone Vigil is cursed both because of the mobs slapping hard and because the newbie tank didn't really need to upgrade their gear all that much to do their job, up to that point.

  4. Jesus you have to be on some toxic ass world hubs because I play on Tonberry and when the party whips when I'm healer I'm apologetic and everybody is like super sweet and giving advice. Hell the tanks when slows down for me when I'm having issues

  5. Soo many times have I had lowgeared party members, a tank not using cooldowns..,
Or just a Zbitchy little lalafell not liking me waiting before the next group for the party to catch up cause the sprouts need to explore(if they want to explore, they'll let me know, not you.., they can use explore mode in the duty settings, or unsync it too..,)
Whatever the party wants I respect and follow, even if I know they can pull one more pack/group/pod of mobs.., waits with party, as replying to them.., lala runs ahead of party.., at the end of the run.., they purposefully don't dps, stand in the bad, die, and don't help killing adds..,
Tank dies, they die, only me and caster(BLM/THM) survive and kill the last boss.., I thank the tank and caster.., reply that to be careful of bad, as I can't remove the debuff.., and respectfully leave without paying attention to offending toxic player.., not worth the time..,

Luckily I've only had few times like that.., I have had alliance raid trolls, backseatin dps and their bot party members telling me what the mechanic of haukke manor is.., when its literally.., when adds spawn.., focus them, and melt them one by one.., cause their bots couldn't handle it..,(I say bots cause the party didnt move or respond at all, til combat..,)

Healing is easy.., just gotta be patient.., and let the alliance trolls remain dead.., had one some days ago.., me and coheal left them dead for constantly pulling before the alliance in it's entirety was ready..,
Yet trolls in other alliance ressed them at the end.., hope they enjoyed the time out though..,

Learn your skills.., if party wants to go slow.., go slow..,
If they go fast, give it your all..,
If they go slow, take a breather you deserve it, long as everyone is alive, have fun..,
If they go fast, enjoy the GLORY OF COMBAT!

I'm a all Combat jobs at 80 player.., so I can safely say.., there really isn't much to normally kill a party..,
And everyone is honest with their mistakes..,
But if a healer doesn't esuna and prefers to use pots as "raid" training while people are dying in stone vigil due to some unavoidable rebuffs..,
Or they purposefully or ignorantly deny/ignore tooltips, know there I snt much you can do..,

But through grit.., you can make it through..,

I have had underrated tanks or low gear dps, or questionable practice healers..,
Long as you can compensate, and get through and leave things be.., and give advice when asked.., all is good.., even advice when it's well worded is good..,

I had been given advice along time ago to throw dps in by a legend title wearing tank when I was a but easily downed on their skill healer..,
And they spoke that advice so well, and kind.., I always remember that moment in good light..,
Months later I had dusk vigil and had a bad run.., we all died where there is constantly frostbite wind.., tank was giving shit..,
Got dissuaded and stopped healing.., leveld other things, took a break after reaching 5.3..,
And then came back leveled everything else, then came back to healer..,(had whm/sch at 50+ and ast at 30 when I first took a break)
Got ast->sch->whm to 80.., and I know I do well.., doesn't matter what healer you start with, or any other role/class
Long as your willing to learn.., and people are happy to have you in party/alliance.., better than the rare troll or thrower by miles..,

But as said.., had many runs with low geared party members.., notice the issues.., and if could, kindly remind them..,
Say it's all good and reassure them..,(some people can get dissuaded from trying, or get angry, or get the wrong idea from advice or topics)
If it's only gear holding them back.., praise them for their success despite theyre unintentional handicaps.., or remind them to rotate cooldowns..,
[But never say about Advanced rotations if it isn't high end content.., if it's roulettes.., you don't have to be perfect.., just passable.., and communicative]

Sometimes you don't even need to say anything.., they'll pick up the mistakes and auto fix it..,

How many times have I joined a run in progress where either a dc occurred, or they got ditched, or the rare pain quit..,
(Or healer see the low gear on a critical role) we pushed through and made it..,

But I keep going around in circles..,
Enjoy the game.., there are alot more people who want to cooperate than do not..,
Healing sure isnt hard rn.., but it takes learning.., just like all other classes..,

Many more good times than bad..,

I have a gentle side that is vehemently affected of not doing good, or irritated by the entitlement of those who ditch Cas or say one is superior to another.., and neutral protective side that will put you in place, or be fair and detect bs, and leave those in time out who have trolled long enough in true dead, not play..,

Like said, don't need to be perfect, but try your best, learn, and push through..,

Those who cannot learn, don't want to.., or shift blame.., are worse than those who expect easy street when they don't even read tooltips

  6. This never happened to me until I started playing ANY HEALER JOB THAT WASN"T SCHOLAR. Something about it just messes up my brain I don't get it but it was like flawless and then when Im leveling the other 2 healers its happened like 4 times now

  7. Reminds me back in the heavensward days when I was leveling SCH in stone vigil. I was getting blamed by the ninja for letting the tank die.

Real reason? Their gear was broken. Healer's adjust.

  8. It depends on the mentors/ veterans, if they see the team can't handle a big pull, they know to do a smaller pull so everyone on the team survives. There shouldn't be any pressure to any team members. That's what the mentor that lead in one of our raids said.

Not when the healer sneezes or blinks then everyone's dead and their at fault. 😆
