I fell in love with this track, and can't help but relate it to the Amaurotines. The chanting reflects a peaceful society so ancient, beautiful, and foreign, yet lost to us, forever. It solidifies that sense of longing we felt in Amaurot; our new, old home- a sense of nostalgia for something our sundered soul just can't recall. Where Amaurot's track suggested unstoppable sorrow and doom (the clock ticking), this track is lighter and progressive- things can get better; we can fix this. Whatever I may be feeling, I find so much melancholy and comfort in the peacefulness it brings.
This area is really reminiscent of FFXI! Apart from the ambient, the way you have to go a specific path to access different parts of the map reminds me of Ru'aun ^^ They even added the Weepers, so I don't think it was unintentional~
By far, one of the greatest area themes in Final Fantasy series to ever be composed. So epic and a flood of emotions going with the history of this place and the people related to it.
honestly one of the best areas in the game.
Grest job, congrats! It would be great if you would one for Yanxia too!
Thanks for uploading 🙂
i religiously come to this zone to do exactly this, thank you 🙂
i love it too
and this instantly goes on a permanent loop

Sadly the lighting on moon is really subpar X.X…
beats to cry to in outer space
I honestly caught myself just chilling out on the moon, doing nothing but listening to the bgm and petting my plants or something.
