  1. Im so glad you noticed that there's no list for the instances for the old style of grinding. I was at work until a bit ago and was looking for it to try to plan out what I wanted to do with an alt who hasnt completed EW yet (I love multitasking).

  2. I love the addition of weekly goals, and am giggling a bit that the Ultimog I've been offered involves doing an 8,000+ point Ocean Fishing run — on a Lv. 90 FSH. Looking forwards to all those Mogbucks as soon as I can hop on the boat! Also a bit crazy that Praetorium gives 7 Tomes while the CT Alliance Raids give only 3 — what's up with that?!

  3. I have always felt that the moogle event was mostly meant to funnel players towards older content so newer players have people to play with. I think it works very well, the rewards are nice but exclusives aside they are all stuff you can earn in game so you don't feel FOMO. FOMO makes me sad.

  4. The weekly bonus seems to be randomised, mine was cutters' cry and I think it might have been for less tomes than the alliance raid weekly though I'm not sure.
The rewards were always going to be underwhelming compared to the special 10th anniversary tome event, but there's quite a few I am planning to pick up, particularly the ishgard restoration stuff. The total tome cost for stuff I'm considering grabbing comes to about 350, which would have been super brutal to get with something like blue mage aurum vale runs, but actually seems pretty feasible doing the new limited bonus reward stuff. My single real disappointment with the event is that none of omega is included since I need runs of that for my blade's relic weapon.

  5. Meh I don't much care for thee changes or the rewards. Thankfully I'll be done grinding what I want fairly quickly this time mostly Mandeville. One or two other knick knacks and that's it.

  6. Pretty great upgrade to the event, nice and new player friendly! While I do agree most rewards are "lesser" than previous iterations, let's not forget they removed mgp cards and maps (stackable and guaranteed portals, mind you) in some, which IMO are quite valuable still. I'll be stocking up on those for sure!

  7. The weekly seems to be randomized player by player. Mine was Dyzmel Darkhold. I'm not sure if Minimog and Ultimog is too, because we got the same. (I already got my Neckerchief. It's adorable).

I've been stocking up on old Maps for the titles with my friends, so I'm happy to have an easy way to get free portals while I level up my alts.

  8. Question

Ocean fishing…. I'm terrible at fishing on any game so is it worth while or not.
My level is 61. Any tips would be appreciated (considering all I do is by the fish I need for handing it to grand company)

  9. I'd also like to see the branching options being played more in the future. So for example I'll be choosing the fates (only because I'm working on the 60 fate per area thing) so next I would like to see that it's either locked out the card route or I would have to reset progress to work on route 2 (aka the card game)
Yes some won't agree but I think it'd bring a different element to it.
Also maybe I should have watched whole video before commenting 😂😂😂😂😂

  10. this is amazing, bc the info was entirely outside of the game I completely missed the last moogle event until the last week, and still couldn't really participate because being a lower level player my only options were the final ARR dungeons and I didn't want to subject people to the unskippable cutscenes. with this all the information is in game and there's so many options that even low level players can participate

  11. I love the UI and the weekly/minimog and Ultimate targets, it encourages doing more over the coming weeks instead of knocking out 100 BLU fights in 2days. But I found the Ultimog Challenge to be an incredibly HUGE dissapointment. 8k in Oceanfishing is such a joke, the point requirement might as well not be there, at least make it 17-18k so we need to at least try a little bit. All in all I was hoping for something different all together since Ocean Fishing is already a Standard Target. Obviously dont pick a Savage fight or more, but maybe an older or current Extreme or Unreal for the Ultimog Target, it might tickle out some people who would never try to have a go for it. Just not..this

  12. My weekly objective is Stone Vigil (Hard), also worth 20 tomes
Could be depending on region since I play on NA 😼

Sidenote; how were you able to perform emotes when the chat/ui is hiddein? 😼
I've tried many times to do something like that but it wouldn't take

  13. My guessing with the rewards is that they wanted to have a good enough turnout to judge how successful the new format is without necessarily overwhelming the new areas you can get moogletomes? I know I'll be getting that barding on my main and some alts to save myself the gil lol
