summmmmmonnnneeerrrrrssss PLS LISTEN, I WAS WITH 4 SUMMONERS IN PUPPET BUNKER!!! no one could see anything 😂😂😂😂
I'm a filthy clicker so I stick with standard movement.
Legacy rules
I just turn my char with mouse on standart
No one setting is better than another. It might be hard for some to understand, but there's a reason why these options exist. It's always good for people to show case what the pro and cons of the setting.
I had no idea about that autotarget feature, that's nice for stuff like Bozja so I can actually get stuff done lmao
Literally didn't know you could get free materia from 100% spirit bond…
I use standard and the way I move backward out of an aoe is I turn my camera 90 degress by holding right click, and then pressing either a or d to move left or right (when you're holding right click, your turn keybinds automatically change to strafe keybinds).
I use standard and still strafe with a and d, just hold down the right mouse button. Of course this does lock where you're facing to your mouse at the time.
To answer the controller key-bind question, R3 is what alters menu size. It works in both hud layout and when in specific menus (crafting log for example).
I use standart controls for several reasons.
1: 20+ years of playing games with the setup and most other games using it. And retraining my muscle memory for just on game is just too much.
2: I find legacy controlls disorientating, at least with mouse and keyboard.
3: I value movement and camera being independent from each other higher then faster backwards movement
It would be great if you found a way to chapter the video, so individuals can quickly look for the setting they want advice on!
No, you're not weird, you're based for doubleweaving on the same button @16:50 Even better is to hire assistance from your local internet technician so they can hook up your internet for high-speed, 0-latency connection, making double-weaving even easier!
I’m dying laughing at the first thing
Rebinding your keys to remove turn and put strafe on a/d is literally day 1 mmo stuff
Genuinely don't understand how people use Standard movement.
in before the sheep saying put FSR on 99 because "it looks better" when it looks absolutely awful and costs performance.
I just plain hate the legacy movement option. I'm glad it's there for people who prefer it, but for me it's only ever caused problems, so it can be a little obnoxious and eye-roll worthy for me when a video has a thumbnail like this one's that says legacy movement is 'better' carte blanche. Take my click and my engagement, but it does feel like clickbait to me.
I just hold down right mouse button and turn that way
In regards to moving backwards to avoid AoEs, there's a neat thing people playing on standard-movement use: hold right-click, turn the camera, and strafe out of the AoE.
…i realize this sounds condescending- that isn't my intention, just wanna point out a way to avoid aoes without having to hold the move back key.
standard is superior for hanging out with friends, since you can slowly turn towards them then give em' the stare
13:00 if i use this i still get the Error Sound and Message on screen.
it only works for "target not in range" but not for "Invalid Target". Is there a Thing im missing? Pls help ^^
The Unending Cutscenes in the Inn are limited as it doesn’t have every cutscene… I kind of wish it did, as I’d like to watch them. Thus I leave cutscenes on and if I want to skip them it’s just a button press for dungeons. But if I’m being honest I enjoy watching them.
You can still backpedal on Legacy by holding ASD. Also, Legacy allows you to keep moving and use ranged attacks without turning around, which makes the kiting in solo deep dungeon easier.
I have the target castbar as 200% in the middle of my screen because I am blind as fuck, changed it once and never looked back XD best setting by far!
what the shit! 7:40 after all this time
I prefer standard as i change direction of running with the mouse as you can snap into any direction instantly. Dont like classic , feels odd to me .
Tab targeting in this game is rubbish, much prefer how it works in wow .
/petsize all small ………. you are my god !
Camera thing is useful for me as lalafel cannot look up !
I disagree about legacy camera
pop-ups from the 90s. I am that old…and it sucked
Disable camera pivot for legacy is superior
legacy movement is dogshit
I used to pray for times like this (Azu upload)
Outstanding tips, thank you sir
Awesome! I just started PVPing, and this info will be a major help!
holding right click will allow a and d strafe btw
What hair style is that?
Great tips! Thank you.
I'm still not understanding the recast time thing on Salted Earth. I've rewatched that part a few times, and I can't see the difference.
Sweet guide!! Thanks!! You explain things super well 🙂
