The one bad thing about ffxiv is that you cant quest because most of the time you are gonna get sidetracked by orgies and get dragged into brothels.
Man IDK how anybody can enjoy FF14?
I am lvl 30 lancer so far.
I tried it these few days:
1. Graphics suck and maps are so poorly made I can barely navigate. No option to outzoom on an area.
2. Duels don't exist in open world.
3. There is no serious ranked pvp.
4. There are no dps meters game is not even in competative spirit.
i miss traditional everquest. if it was modernized id play it. the only way blizzard recovers is making a starcraft MMO with modern tech. no more mana and magic.
Funny how WoW is pretty much Everquest with more active gameplay and he says it was a loser game LOL
If Asmon hates Rimworld because of the name I want to know what he thinks about Pacific Rim.
It’s so weird seeing all these people go wild over FFXIV after so many years. We knew it was amazing 8 years ago 😆
Everquest was brutal. If you died, you lost around half a level of xp. I remember I jojo'd around lvl 30 for a while.
It was my first mmo, and pretty sure I didn't know how to play properly, but fond memories of my necromancer and my pet skeleton.
Also: "Traaaaaain!!!" …which you would hear ppl shout, running up from the depths of a dungeon (which weren't instanced) and dragging the whole instance behind them.
It was your queue to start running out too or die horribly, because mobs aggroed whatever was in range ;D
Everquest aka evercrack, was my first mmo and to this day i still love and cherosh that game. It is in a sad state regarding its “latest patch”, but classic everquest up to and including shadows of luclin it remains my favorite game of all time. Nothing was given to you but a starting weapon, a note guiding you to your class guild master, and a few rations. From there it is up to you as to what you do or what quests you find. Such a great game!

A lot of good and respectful streamers are playing ffxiv ….i did the same about the same time as you Zach and rich , cohh …many others i see too…its definitely a change of pace and a good one:)

Technically, as long as you are talking about FF, FF allows you stream whatever and everything, there's a streaming guide on their web about mmusic and cutscenes

Man, i picked up FF14 like 3 months ago. Than a YT who goes by Afro Senju revealed hes been playing, then Asmond and now apparently Cohh has too. Everyone and their mom is getting into FF14
