  1. As an homage to Louisoix and Bahamut's rivalry, whenever the Louisoix minion and the Bahamut minion are close to each other, they will start fighting each other. I don't have the Bahamut minion but whenever I see someone who does, I always pull out my Louisoix minion to see them pew-pew at each other.

  2. Other people might miss this scene since it is not actually part of the MSQ but more of a side-content. But this side-quest is what actually filled my ARR run a whole lot better seeing what really happened to Louisoix at the end and what really transpired at the end of 1.0.

  3. crazy thing is he didnt die after striking bahamut, he knew that as a primal he was now hed bleed the land of aether so he released it all back to the land, which is the shower of aether you see.

  4. What i found interesting about this is that afterwards he took the form of a Phoenix because it was he who ended up literally reviving Eorzea through the ashes of bahamut. The blue magic raining down in those last frames is the last of his dissapated aether falling down healing the destruction

  5. To explain what’s going on here: when Louisoix envoked the power of the Twelve, he gathered a truly massive amount of aether to make it happen. Sadly, Bahamut was too powerful to be held captive by the sealing spell. When he destroyed his bonds, that aether scattered then coalesced back into the Twelve, who had been summoned momentarily. Louisoix was then greeted by the Twelve (the giant crystal shards surrounding him) and they infused him with all their aether. That, combined with the the fact that every single person was praying for salvation and for the realm to be healed and saved, transformed him into a primal. He became Phoenix and smote Bahamut with his newfound power. After killing Bahamut, his form shattered and like a Phoenix does, his ashes (in the form of his aether) scattered into the sky. Infused with the prayer for healing and rebirth, his aether fell down on the land like snow and healed the lands below of the devastation and death wrought by Bahamut. It even brought some people back to life. This is why in 2.0 the realm feels less devastated than it should have been. Because Louisoix healed the land and truly made it a realm reborn!
