  1. I wouldn't be mad if there were no addons alloved in general in this game. No parsing, no sweating for an imaginary first place and decend into the WoW spiral of killing the fun of the game…
Hell, even now The EU discord recruiters check your logs before recruting you, like what the hell, you wanted a Meele DPS and you got it, if I had enough brain to use Discord I'l most likely wont drag your entire party down in a glorified puzzle game that half of these fights are.

  2. I got put in jail because I joined a dungeon for the first time while leveling up and said "hey guys my first time in here, if there are any mechs I should know please tell me :)" nobody said any mechs and we wiped once. Someone in group said "maybe you should try killing the chains" and I said "maybe you should try telling me the mech instead of being a passive aggressive little bitch" ☺️

  3. you can never win an argument against a coder that make these addons for the games, what ever argument you bring like " its ment that you use your brain not an addon" falls on deaf ears, i tried winning over these people that make addons before and its impossible.

  4. Bro why tf everyone saying “technically” add-ons are banned. It’s not technically, quite literally all add-ons are tos. The only reason you don’t get banned is cause the devs can’t check. Doesn’t matter if you wanna erp you’re cat-girl Waifu as a man or have cacbot play the raid for you, it’s all tos lmao

  6. Oh so Add-ons on FFXIV are like OW porn then. Devs and playerbase knows it exists but just pretends it doesn't and you just don't show or mention it to anyone.

  7. 5chan mass reported him to test the waters to see if squares stance on UI mods changed after their recent announcement. He wasn’t being toxic. He was using 2 mods on his UI. ACT which is a dps tracker and a mod that shows buff timers on party members. Xenos and other streamers are now rightfully paranoid because this seems to indicate a shift in the position of “don’t ask don’t tell” with UI mods that don’t effect gameplay, aka quality of life mods, as long as you are not harassing people with them or the information they give. This reaction from square may be because of a few IDIOTS who streamed using cactbot timers/callouts during the new ultimate forcing square to come down hard on 3rd party tools. It was always unspoken that ACT and quality of life buff timers/easier to see/bigger numbers were ok but everything else no. So they either had to act and enforce their rules or passively ok that now those mods were now ok also. Hopefully it will return to how it was after they have to show some force and the dust clears, but we will see.

  9. I love how many people are defending SE here. Like who the fuck cares if this dude uses addons? Why the fuck should they be banned? As long as they don't affect other players, who gives a shit? And don't hit me with the "well he wouldn't be banned if he weren't streaming" bullshit, plenty of people stream with addons visible, bans just get handed out completely randomly, the rules aren't consistently enforced in the slightest

  10. I will share a story of mine. One day I was in the gold saucer, one of those events where you mimic the emote of the NPC. I was spamming one of those manderville emotes, then all good. I was in Idleshyre jumping around nearby a corner no one uses. All of the sudden the screen goes black as if you changed areas. Fora moment I legit thought I was in a new area. Then I saw the room I was in and I said…oh boy, The guy appeared but he was a very nice person all he adviced me was to not spam emotes and If I wanted to, just deactivate the option where the message of the emote is displayed in the chat. This guy however, is in trouble lmao
