  3. Yo! this is a reupload of my original video. I got some pretty nasty comments threatening to report me and shit so I decided to cut those parts out of the video in hopes the "hate watchers" have less ammunition. Im an easy target for this kind of stuff. Ive also noticed a lot of people seem to think i am for RMT and this is just simply not true. Just because I dont give a shit about it doesnt mean I am for it. I also state in the video that because I am numb to RMT and dont really care about it doesnt mean that other people are not, so moving that shit off the pf is a good thing. Please watch the whole vid before you decide to target me with threats of report! thx!

  4. say, these problems were definetly considered. chill, and stop sounding like my 12yrs old students "but what if I do this in that way? I can definetly surpass your regulations" they're just updating this, to give their possible actions more background and tell the people who are currently selling duties that 'you are warned'. the result still depends on how many manpower the team have to put on this issue.

  5. RMT is always going to be a thing when millions of people are doing something, someone will try and make money from it.

Actively discouraging it is SE’s job and they are doing well with that and these changes will help. Xeno is right though it will take minutes for people to work around this.

They should tel you why you get banned though 100%

  6. Square suspending streamers from reports containing information the reporters obtained solely from a stream is peak dumb IMO, especially if the 2ED2EZ comment is true. If you aren't saying shit in-game and viewers aren't harassing anyone, then there's no evidence. No evidence, no crime. Especially if you're getting people who aren't even participating in the duty to report, that's just brigading at that point and should be completely irrelevant.

  7. the true RMT will never end, this just makes the PF cleaner, if you want to sell/buy clear you can do it in a million ways without getting caught, PF is just a super lazy way to advertise it, to think that you can stop RMT, you have to perhaps ban all social media first, then ban all the game trade websites, then discord and ts, then linkshell and fc in the game

  8. Is RMT really just a huge issue in other DCs? I play on Elemental (Tonberry) and I don't think I've ever seen any RMT on the PF at all (granted I started playing pretty late like maybe 6-7 months ago, so I was in the 'dead' part of the expansion. The most I've ever seen is someone trying to farm for a mount and saying that they'll pay everyone 200k to pass on the gwiber if it drops

  9. They're fine with people buying clears with gil, but not with cash. That's the important bit of RMT. One of the reasons they updated the TOS is so that they don't have to do a full investigation like they were to make sure a clear seller or gold seller or whatever was asking for cash. Now they can just slap the obvious people in PF and associated IPs. It's not going to stop RMT, nothing will, but it's a deterrent for the lazier ones and should at least bring it out of the public eye more. The real way to tell if it's working will be how fast the gil sellers vanish from shouting in Limsa after the change.

  10. One of the main problems with RMT(as I understand it) is that it undermines authenticity. If an ultimate clear means you managed to clear the hardest content in the game OR you're just a whale, that's a big fucking or.

Also, you really don't wanna end up in a situation where you can buy basically anything with real world money, like in WoW. Why put time or effort into a game when just pumping more money into it is a hundred times more efficient? You'd have to earn less than a dollar an hour for this to not be the case.

  11. Its wild how negative the comments in the last upload got. I came back to all kinds of weird responses and upvotes for just explaining how moderation normally works in these games. Some of these people in this community are crazy AF.

  12. most RMT has seemed to moved to fellowship finder. while its fine as nobody use fellowship finder. there is less ways to filter it making it more difficult to find legitimate ones… tho again. i dont think anyone use it.

  13. You guys have a fundamental misunderstanding of what the GM is there to do.
It's not an investigation, a hearing or a trial. The verdict has been reached long before that. The GM is there to read you your sentence.

  14. GMs are hired for the region they police, those GMs are more like call center employees rather than actual representatives of Square Enix. Consider your audience when dealing with GMs. They have preapproved script lines to say, same as any call center but you can damn well bet that if one doesn't like you, they can and WILL make your life difficult when you need to rely on the service their office supplies.

  15. This is not the same. It was full of people selling shit in the PF. Now there was 1 with a very convoluted cryptic message. Buying is not the same as selling. Buying is a one time thing, selling is a systematic thing. Go play wow a couple of months if you don't see the problem of RMT.

  16. It actually makes sense that they're OK with people buying content on PF, but not selling. A buyer will get his run and get out, but sellers are a permanent fixture on PF.

  17. Sometimes it astonish me how much of a snow flake people can be in this game. So what if someone buys a clear of whatever, people can get clears from close friends running the content as their characters for free, or you can be a crafter who is loaded with gil and buy clears with gil, or you can be a known streamer and net work your way to a clear. It really shouldn't bother anyone how people play the game so long as it doesn't involve hacking or whatever. I remember being in a party finder for e12s and the party leader's gf was super under performing and dying to well everything. Someone pointed it out and he said on voice: "Thank you now I can report you for using 3rd party programs to check our dps hehehehe! Also your logs suck ho ho ho!" Which lead to the rest of the group reporting him for his bullshit. Thus I understood what Yoshi P. meant with report wars.

  18. I understand that Xenos has grown indifferent to RMT in PF, but blatantly having that stuff listed isn’t cool. Fortunately most of the sellers are stuck listing them in the wrong areas cause you actually have to play the game to unlock PF recruitment for the clears in question, which would put the seller’s main accounts at risk. No you can’t stop it all but at least keep the ADs for RMT out of game.

  19. I play on a JP data center. Every time I see announcements about them banning/suspending RMT accounts, I eventually end up seeing hordes of sprouts with gibberish names walking around in a scripted way, wearing the same gear and leveling up at the same time.

  20. Nothing wrong was said in this video. The man gave his opinions and if you dont like them you can simply move on to another video and forget you ever saw this one. If we continue to pander to the weakest of society, those that get butthurt over the smallest things, then we will devolve as a society and eventually as a species.

  21. You know what, i think they could be making an example out of you. If they want to go extreme, they could twist that you insinuated stuff about the GM as harassment. It ends up a m1ndf00k. I hope you get something better than just a wall of nothing at some point. But then again, they probably dont want your reaction. So who knows. GG no raid shadowledgends

  22. I've been farming some e12 recently to get some gear for EW and the ammount of PayPal legends clowning around it's huge.
Im glad that the pf its waaay cleaner and the parties in there are actual parties, but its a reality that the rmt for clears can be done vĂa discord or whatever so theres no way to end with it 100%

  23. You literally just have to not be a dick to people. That’s it. If you got banned, you were being a dick or doing RMT shit. Welcome to an MMO where the devs actually care about their players having a good time. Deal with your ban quietly.

  24. So vulgarity? I have been rescue pulled to death by healers on purpose / followed by them proudly stating they did so in Raid chat / where the Tanks in Nier raids purposefully throw their tank busters on me saying " We Fucking Killed the Midget " / Being stalked throughout Ul'Dah / having some Roe squat spam me / while having Sexual harassment DM's!? <- these people do not get banned but someone that is slightly vulgar will? …. alright…………………………………
