  1. Well said glub. A Game is game and it should be enjoyed by players. Its up to the players if they want to purchased in the inbound cash shop. Most mobile mmo now a days being prompted for a cash shop that i played. I dont like a game upon starting to be prompted upon the beginning of a game for cash shop but it very tempting to buy and gamble. Been there and realized upon quiting to that pc game the money i spent should spent in meaningful way.

  2. I used to be a hardcore WoW player. I loved playing it and would spend hours on end playing it. I stopped playing after the legion expansion be the developers went crazy with nerfing and ruined alot of classes and skill paths. I played final fantasy 14 about 1 month ago for the first time and I absolutely loved it. It reminded me of WoW before blizzard ruined everything.

  3. I just started playing FFXIV recently and I came to it from brief stints in WoW and Guild Wars 2 (plenty of free loot crates drop around the world…shame the keys come from the cash shop). Looking forward to seeing how this one pans out…once I'm done grinding the Golden Saucer.

  4. The fall of Blizzard and the rise if FFXIV may lead to a new era in MMO gaming where shady monetization tactics are a thing if the past.

    Only time will tell.

  5. Knowing just how BIG and how powerful Square Enix is in the games industry? I highly doubt it will fall to the corrupt practices of the industry, since I highly, HIGHLY doubt it will be hemorrhaging money any time soon.

  6. That would be good IF A CERTAIN COMPANY WOULD STOP ADDING ADS INTO THEIR SOCIAL-MEDIA-BRICKED-STAND ALONE VR HEADSET!~(YES IT IS OCULUS, YES THERE WILL BE ADS!).

  7. Left world of warcraft around the time the demon hunter class came out cause I was bored of it after playing it for nearly 10 years and I haven't touched it since but recently been looking for a game like it cause now I'm burnt out with shooter games and battle royals

  8. I'd say it all started from 2013 when FFXIV launched. I was among that wave of crowd fed up with monetization in video games. The biggest issue then were MMORPG turning into pay to win. It was the case for me with AION. I genuinely took my best effort to stay on AION. I was even a beta tester for AION and what draw me to it was the game initially a subscription based game. All that changed and luckily FF14 was there for me to beta test and become the very first wave of refugee into FF14. I knew FF14 would never become a F2P because I have played FF11 Online for 6 years. Japanese MMORPG haven't really let me down so far.

  9. i was never into mmorpg but something about this game and the vibe everyone is having around it makes me wanna try it out, i can't afford to buy it however i see nothing but pure joy when a bunch of lads go raid a boss while not knowing what's going on on the screen

also funke talked about tf2 in his latest video, the game's still able to be entertaining with friends with the amount of "content" it has for the mean time, but overall it lacks what it needs for longevity and i agree that it is now more of a cashgrab than any other time

  10. I like this. Good structure, point was well thought out and it was easy to understand. When you first said you were going to be doing more serious videos I was happy to hear it and now that I have seen the result I think you have done a great job. Keep up the great work and take care of yourself
