What happened to the other story Antagonists? – FFXIV Lore Explored
Thank you so much for watching this video.
My channel is focused on player perspective content, gameplay, theories and importantly game lore for Final Fantasy XIV.
As this channel has grown my goals have evolved but ever do they remain the same, the creation of videos that mean to bring a smile to a viewer’s face or provide them with even one piece of useful information.
I mean to live up to these goals and the time you have taken to watch my content.

Teledji…. While he can be found in Palace of the Dead, I don't recall seeing him in the EW lvl 89 dungeon, perhaps after his butt was kicked in PotD he went to rest?? Either way I hope next time I do PotD I can encounter him and others and get hopefully screenshots.
( I know of someone who RPs him, they made a comic about him and how he survived by escaping from the Palace and such, pretty good. I've taken the HCs of them and added to my own. I like the idea he's just out there making a change for himself, similar to another who RPs Amon. =} )
I think the sidelining of these antagonists has a LOT to do with FFXIV's narrative shift from National and International politics to a more cosmic PoV beginning with Shadowbringers. The 14 plotline from ARR to Stormblood is really about the various nations grappling with their politics, factions, and mechanisms while living in a world of magic and gods. Shadowbringers, while great, has begun a trend (that is hopefully closed off by Endwallker) of focusing on the more fantastical elements of 14's universe and putting politics to the side. With our world seemingly saved and the devs hinting a sort of reset, I hope we get back to more Political stories.
I started doing all sorts of stories besides side story. So far the only story I never imagined to make me cry is the alchemist job quests… it was especially bad cause i just watched the video about the original story with the old accident in Uldah that was part of the original FF intro. Then there are some pretty neat side quests in ever region that are yellow quests with a bit of a plit, but one really needs to do a bunch of them before you can find the good ones.
There should be a storyline that if the past villains revived by some Ascian magic plans to kill the WoL as revenge.
