  1. HA! I have seen a couple of these websites.

The Eorzean collection in particular is a source I like using. I had a specific head piece on my Paladin, but after changing up the hair, it didn't fit anymore. So, I went in search of something similar that wouldn't have as many clipping issues – and I found it. People do really make some amazing glams ^_^

As for crafting and gathering… I'm not really a numbers person. My philosophy in crafting has always been "gather at least a third – 3x as much as you think you'll need" for anything I need to make in bulk (mostly for leveling/Ishgardian Restoration). I do this on purpose so I can sell off anything I don't wind up using. It's also a nice way to chill if (like me) you actually enjoy gathering and crafting. I throw on a youtube video in the background and have fun.

Something a lot of people don't know however, is that there are in-game resources as well that can help with tracking things. You can literally set timers (in game) for nodes and have them go off only once or multiple times. They've also become much more detailed with crafting recipes, allowing you to see what materials you'll need down to their incomplete forms – such as a Leather which often involves skin and some form of alumen. It also has access to all your retainers inventories as well as chocobo saddle bag, so it knows if you have the materials regardless of of they're on your person or not. It won't help with multiples, but if you're a "need only" crafter like myself, it can be a big help.

The only thing it won't help with are the materials that drop from monsters. If you're not in a big hurry to get it complete (say you want to do your Beast Tribes, MSQ and other things out of the way first) you can always send combat retainers after materials for you (such as the Tiger Skin I mentioned). Those ventures only cost 1 token and usually my boy brings back 15 of whatever it is I sent him for. It also takes less than an hour (50 minutes), so you can have that going on in the background while you do other things.

I'm currently trying to get my Goldsmith, Armorer, Blacksmith and Alchemist from 70-80 and just recently got them all from 60-70 through the Ishgardian restoration. Two of them required the same kind of cut stone in order to make level 60 restoration items, so I doubled the volume I needed and estimated about 40 collectables would be needed per level run. I had over 120 stones when I started and was able to sell off the rest at profit. <3

I'm also familiar with FF Collect, though I primarily used that for Blue mage.

I'd also like to suggest for people wanting to get into Eureka or bozja to check out
    https://ffxiv-eureka.com
    or
    https://ffxiv-bozjan-toolkit.com
It will help immensely, whether you're there simply to level your character or work on that expansion's Relics. this is especially true of the Eureka Tracker because you actually need to sort of "coctail" mix things called Logograms in order to progress your weapon (not to mention, it's very good at helping you pinpoint what you need for the special skills you want)

Ah, and for my Triple Triad achievement,
https://arrtripletriad.com/en/cards <– This was absolutely invaluable.
