Give me "Dynamis – Echoes of Vana'diel". If you know, you know.
For the love of god stop giving us Savage content. Why is EVERYTHING focused on Savage & Ultimate! Why do we not have Extreme dungeons or Extreme Raids? The fact that criterion was just 3 mini Savage fights was a joke man. I'm SICK of content where someone stubs their toe and it's a wipe.
The game needs more midcore difficulty content, not more savage. This is not exciting for me.
YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!
Can't know for sure, but this doesn't sound like Savage Arcadion; This sounds like the new field instance raid like in Eureka and Bozja. Translated interviews should be taken with a grain of salt anyway. Yoshi-P unfortunately already has social media acting like they can read his mind and speaking for him on a regular basis.
Edit: Gonna leave my original comment unedited, but taking a closer look at the interview in English and Japanese, it looks like he's actually directly referring to "24-man" and not just "alliance," which could just have been Field Operation content. Now I'm intrigued!
I like the idea of 24 man savage/extreme raids to go along side the 8man it'll keep things moving during the even number patches for ppl who want more content that's difficultly it's exactly what the mid hard core tier player ranges needs plus it helps with saving on development of that hard content ppl been asking for by giving a reason to go back into content with reused assets
We already have 24-man savage content.
Either this 24 person savage content is what's coming with DT's Bozja, or he's actually talking about AR-like content, and if he's talking about AR's or AR-like content I hope its done properly, like storming a bad guys castle and not only dealing with the generals, but the foot soldiers throughout the castle in-between the bosses too, and not a glorified boss rush.
as an ex wow player I could only beg them not… 25 man was the worst epxerince of my life and I only understood that after getting into 8man content in ffxiv. It's a logistical nightmare, it's harder to mainting good wibe going without 5-10 people over taking everything and raid leader trying to call shots in between. Idk man… if the comunity wants it.. I think it's great, they should give it a shot. I perosonally will stick to the 8 man stuff
This would be fucking awsome
I think for 8.0 they need to spice up how the msq is presented. I feel like the story has heavily carried the way it’s structured and when the story finally dipped in quality, it was way way more heavily criticized because 94% of the quests were just running somewhere and talking
Nice drs was great
Could be interesting, but having lead a Mythic raid team in wow before, I'm not looking forward to organizing 20+ people again xD
24 person Labyrinth of the Ancients savage mode, OH NO
Ah wiping city from 3.0 raid
To be fair, we have Baldesion Armory, Castrum Lacus Litore, Delebrum Reginae (Normal and Savage), and The Dalriada, which are solid midcore content for their respective expacs, and to this day, Delebrum Reginae Savage is still the closest thing we got to large scale 24 to 48 man raids that are close or comparable to savage tier difficulty. So we'll see how they implement it.
24 man savage is a new thing. I think its going to scale. It's going to start easy like Crystal tower to void arc. Its could be crazy hard if they want it to be. But i think they just want more people to get involved with doing that sort of content. And they need to make it so 1 person can't force a wipe.
Given that i’ve never done BA coz i gave up early in Eureka (i can’t bring myself to slog it), I miss the challenges brought by Stormblood’s Ivalice raids and Shadowbringers’s Nier raids. Endwalker’s Twelve raids let me down especially Euphrosyne and Thaleia. I know they must appeal to a wider audience, but at the higher end is supposed to make us keep on our toes. Cautiously optimistic for the FFXI’s theme of raids.
I dunno bout this one. The last expansion 8-man Savage was kinda…. peculiar. Now they're making 24 ?
I'm skeptical but I wish them good luck.
can't wait for materia to not be able to do it
I feel they're overfocusing on hardcore content. What the heck, new kind of stuff I won't be able to do. Just great.
Can we have mythic plus system
Good for them for trying things out, but honestly, this doesn't sound viable. Finding, coordinating and sustaining a roster of 24 people is going to be a hell.
i think by 24 man savage Yoshi P means to introduce a new tier of "standardized" difficulty content for 24 players. we've actually had a few other large scale raids that sit at different difficulties. Baldesion Arsenal was on the savage end and Delubrum Reginae was more Extreme difficulty, altho both are notably easier now that players know what to do and can also bridge the gap with role actions.
my guess is they want to create content that will consistently sit just above EX (probably without role actions).. or it might be that they're doing Savage versions of the upcoming alliance raids. but with 24 moving parts its not possible for it to be mechanically as hard as true savage content. maybe more strict mechanics checks (like we see in new dungeons) or twice come ruin would be implemented
I like the idea, but I want more 4-man savage content instead. I don't have a big FC, nor really friends outside of the FC. More Criterion stuff please!
AW YEAH PVP LEGGO i mean
If they made 24 man force to raid like WoW im off today, how true is this?
Oh NO! Shantotto Savage (We are so dead!!)
24-man Savage raids for 1% of the player base, sounds fun!
I love alliance raids & quite enjoy Savage too so I'm all for this idea, but i have my doubts as well.
1. The rewards. Maybe they should add another gear set which is +5 il above ordinary Savages but still just beneath ultimate gear? And maybe some sick mounts from the alliance raids as well?
Whatever they do, it's gotta be worth it this time!
2. Difficulty could be a bit much for 24 players to coordinate. Maybe they could have the difficulty fall between Ex-Sav?
Also, each boss should definitely stay defeated once defeated, instead of starting from the first boss again because you died on the last boss, for example.
If they made us start from the first boss every time we died that would be a deal breaker for me. I doubt they would do this anyway so there's probably nothing to worry about in that regard. I hope!
3. Having to PF it every time because you don't have 23 other players to run with. Need i say more? 😂
Whatever they put out, I'm completely on board to try it.
Hopefully they can get it right & provide a new way for us to play. 🤞
it is just basically eureka or bozja raid
What’s next a 24 alliance ultimate? 😂
I don't see much players interested in this. And those intereseted will see a lot of toxicity. Raid organaziers/leaders will have a hard time. It is way too much effort and pain.
I am on the train with the more midcore content added. The jump in the skill required from dungeons to Extreme trials is big. Somewhere in the middle between those two needs more content. But, coming from what i see in Dawntrail this might not be needed. The optional dungeons in DT are not easy.
