  1. People in FFXIV give us way too much credit. We would have been fucking toast against the final Endwalker boss had you-know-who hadn't saved our asses.

  2. Y'all are saying the WoL while completly being blind yourself.
    Let's recap the cutscene.
Thancred and Y'shtola fight the blasphemys and we were given the task of helping the civilians. Ok, everythig still seems the same. But the WoL wasn't just standing around, but giving out orders to thr civis. The only problem the cutscene had was, is that it's not that easd to see, because you can only see the WoL doing their job for 1 second, before seeing what was happening behind them.

Now why they were so slow, I don't have an answer, but all the complaing is about the WoL doing nothing, while they were doing their job.

  3. In Cutscenes we are such a joke, no one ever gonna forget where we literally got captured for supposedly poisoning the Sultana, after literally saving lives of many and handing the Primals and Tribes their asses.

  4. NPC dying in my character's arms while my character has been exclusively White Mage the entire game: "Don't beat yourself up… There's nothing you or anyone else could've done… Good bye…"

  5. I love being the white mage of white mages storywise yet my character just looks at everyone like "Oh no, if only someone out there could heal you guys ); too bad I guess. So devastating."

  6. ngl they should have animated this scene different. Most jobs have a gap closer, a few of them can even teleport and all the jobs that don't have a gap close have ranged attacks, makes absolutely NO sense why we ran to save him

  7. I feel like it would’ve been better if we were a distance away. Was playing a WAR and was wondering why Onslaught couldn’t be used to close the gap. I can’t imagine how it would feel as a ranged class to just stand there

  8. We CAN defeat Gaius now once and for all, but nah, let's just watch him walk towards the Ultima Weapon, get on top of it, listen to his speech, watch him board and activate it, THEN we fight him.

  9. Bruh it's just like the cutscene right after the Tsukuyomi fight… (Spoilers)

The WoL is looking at asahi doing his shit like "broooo ! You just shoot your sister", then let him get close to her, then let him kick her like "Damn ! You're still going at it, you're a savage" and then when he get killed WoL finally moves slowly to her as if she didn't just get shot and kicked.
If it wasn't hilarious it would just be pityfull…

  10. whilst this is often true, you picked an incredibly bad example, as this cutscene specifically show your character running to try to get there in time, failing, then leading the monster away from other people in order to kill it. I suppose I can congratulate you on your editing skills for cutting all of that out though.

  11. I'm starting to see people take this seriously. Guys, it's a meme, it's comedy. It's an exaggeration of reality. I never meant it to be literal. I know the contexts of scenes like this in the game and why/how they happen, I just chose to make a meme on it. Don't start having a debate on it lol. This was not meant to be criticism of the story, I love FFXIV. Chill peeps.

  12. I hate this so much.
    Not your meme its hilarious.

I wished they had our characters actually doing stuff. This cutscene is the prime example of "IM RIGHT THERE WHY AM I NOT DOING ANYTHING" and its not a good feeling.

  13. this is what i hate the most about this game, your character can steamroll hordes of enemies and is the strongest in eorzea but nah you just sit with your thumb up your ass so plot devices can play out
