After finishing 3.56, to ready ourselves for Stormblood, we watched the trailer and honestly it was brilliant, I’m beyond ready to continue with this story that has me completely hooked at this point. I want to see where we end up next, what story threads we uncover and where our incredible cast of characters go… Final Fantasy XIV has me BY THE BALLS at this point and I’m in it for the long haul!

Glad to see someone new loving the game! I'm in Endwalker myself, been playing for almost a year.
Stormblood was a blast to play, it has so many cool moments and has arguably the best/2nd best "Main City" & Housing in the game.
Also, if you are interested, depending on the Race / Job you play during the expansion, the Dialogue for several scenes will change. I recommend playing as a Female Xaela Au Ra if you want to see some really interesting dialogue!
Stormblood was the first expansion built for the PS4 onwards (PS3 support ended with Heavensward) so the first thing you notice is how much bigger and better the zones look. This continues to get better and better with each subsequent expansion so I hope you enjoy your journey. Also, many people who only focus on the story will say that Stormblood was on the weaker side as compared to Heavensward but while I'll agree that the pacing was definitely not great in the 4.0 MSQ for reasons you'll understand after playing it, ALL of the patch content was FIRE which lead beautifully into Shadowbringers which is still probably the best expansion of a game I've ever played purely from a narrative perspective. But speaking more about Stormblood, pretty much everything is elevated above what existed in Heavensward: the dungeons are better, the trials are better, the zones are more varied, and the raiding content was much better with the Omega raid series and Ultimate Raids first being introduced in this expansion.
I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed Stormblood even more than Heavensward. More varied environments, more visceral story, just bigger overall. Best of all, it has namazu!
