We’re back in Final Fantasy XIV with another silly roulette video. I need 114 tomestones of causality for Manderville Relics, and since I still haven’t sorted out Mentor Roulette, I figured this was the perfect opportunity for another run through everyone’s favorite dailies.

Man that Ultima Weapon reimagined cutscene was unBEARable 🤣🤣🤣. I laughed so hard.
I personally haven't failed Ultimate Weapon, but RathGame's Solo Only Series did show that it does have the break point after the explosion cutscene if you do wipe.
Rath Games here on YouTube has solo'd the Ultima Weapon. He failed a bunch of times along the way.

Edit: On Porta Decumana, if you die in the second phase of Ultima it does checkpoint to the second phase. Yeah, wiping is awful.

I think the trick for using lilies as a SCH main is to remember that Solace/Rapture occupy the same space in your kit as Ruin 2. Sure, they also do some healing and it's nice if you can make that useful, same as with Assize, but their main purpose in your kit is to be 1/4th of a Misery and do damage when you otherwise cannot. Casting a 100% overheal Rapture and having to cast Medica 2 or Cure 3 later is strictly better than doing nothing and casting a no overheal Rapture later.

Honestly, duty roulette can be simultaneously the most boring thing in the game or the most entertaining. Can’t wait to see more craziness that comes with DF.
Quick Tip for whm: instead of using holy between first and second mob pulls I dot them. If you regen the tank just after they have full aggro you can see the mobs bars on your screen, click each one and smack at dot on whilst sprinting. It gets a good few percent off each one. Hope it helps everyone fill the monotony and is helpful. 😅

i warn you spider. Mentor roulette has a couple stinkers in it that you don't wanna get. Especially as a DPS mentor.

Can confirm ultima restarts you after the cutscene. Had a healer once who insisted she should be able to stand in all the damage cuz ultima Is an easy fight and was shocked to find attacks did damage.

29:00 Nope, luckily you start at the second phase, not at the beginning. I got paired with a bunch of Healer Sprouts and a good number of them really got me, the tank and the other DPS destroyed. Not all of them meant it, but of course some of them were just trolling. 🤦
Stormblood Whm is unintuitive. We used to get made fun of so much during that Era, but I stayed whm forever because white mage best mage.

I would not do roulettes if you don´t feel like doing them.
I barely did any for 90 relics, games are meant to be fun so you will burn yourself out of the game if you just do things you don´t enjoy.
On the "can't do anything while running from room to room" part, you totally can! Regen the tank, and then go down the aggro list and cast Dia on every mob. It will knock a few percent off each mob's HP while you're running and ultimately make the trash pulls that much faster. Also for Scarmeglione or however you spell it, you can put out literagy of the bell after the add phase and that will keep everyone topped off while those AOEs hit.
