Soot black is pretty good color to use for your chocobo considering black is a good undersuit color overall. Some bardings don’t have enough armor and the default yellow doesn’t blend in well with it.
Man getting royal purple from the default color was a marathon and a half but at least I was able to get it even if I did mess up on a few but still got the right color.
I saw someone had Reveler's Barding and I just to drop everything I was doing MSQ wise and went to buy it
