Itβs time to pay respects to the original Final Fantasy XIV, the last moments of Eorzea before a new realm was born. I have been playing this game for around 9 months, so itβs really cool to go back and see the original version. I am extremely grateful for what we have now!!!

Weird that you think the graphics look bad in this when Yoshi-P himself stated they greatly scaled back on graphics and animations for ARR forward. Like they stated how the internet literally couldn't handle the game because of the graphical fidelity. Anything but high end pc's the game chugged on from what I heard.
Even though 1.0 was jank I loved my time in that game, and I was there at the end and I cried when the cutscene played. In the final days before shut down, GM's would spawn tons of mobs in Uldah and people would try to kill them, one of them even took over 10 hours to kill but anyone could fight it so there were hundreds of people fighting, it could 1 shot you but you would just run back and get into the fight again, after it died the GM just spawned another one and everyone freaked out lol. Later a group of people decided to RP and they /prayed to the enemy asking the gods to kill it and it suddenly instantly died, everyone cheered, some of the GM's would RP with people and use their GM powers to spawn and kill at will, it was amazing. It was the best gaming experience I ever had.
