  1. From my experience, the "A Cookie for Your Troubles" culinarian levequest has been much more profitable in the long run. Nice video!

  2. another easy way is just by buying stuff like bronze ingots ,undyed hempen cloth and terberynth off npc traders in towns and cities and selling it on MB for a profit. currently on my server a bronze ingot cost 9 gil from the tradecraft supplier and sells for 150 gil on mb.

  3. Thanks for this! Do you have advice for the best way to check what items to craft? I’m hoping there is a better way vs manually looking for things on the market board 😅 (Ffxiv newbie)

  4. Thanks for the video! I needed to know how to make gil and what to sell to vendors. I dont know about Eureka; still learning me way about the game. I'll read up on it.

    Levequests and crafting is great!

  5. For the GC items- I would say its more worth buying Coke- On my server it very regularly sells for between 200-600 gil (I put it on for 600, it will sell eventually), for only 200GC seals.

The best gil making method for me, which seems to be quite an unpopular method, is retainers. With 10 retainers, I relatively passively make 1/2m gil per week. I don't play very often, for someone who play multiple hours every day, they could easily make 2/3m per week.
Bare in mind I can make that alongside any crafting (or anything else) I want to do, it takes my focus for about 15 minutes each day while I figure out what I want to continually send them out for that day. The gotcha is ive spent roughly 100 hours organising items in my retainers and researching the market board…

Also, maybe this is a "pay to win" element?

  6. No lie lot of these are slow i found doing dungeons gives you a lot compared to this . I would say maps usally gets you a lot more gil an old way to make millions was to cluster farm buy the mount and sell it but well now most people got the mount so on to the next big thing

  7. Remember that whilst there are a lot of free trials players, none of them can access the market board nor trade, hence has little to no interest in being able to purchase or sell goods in ARR and Heavensward content unless they own a full account…

Normally you should be able to make full use of free trials userbase via duty or such to make gils with, but often times there is quite the delay to get a single duty depending on the times… Hopefully with Datacenter travel coming in Endwalker, we could expand the duty to other servers in order to get matchmaking at odd times.
