I'm made an appearance in a Brachy video? Neat! I am glad I was apparently a unique case naming WOW pets after IRL pets.
If allowed in the cities, likely will be shrunk while in there. As one of the reasons why you don't see mounts in main cities and 2ndary city hubs (with exceptions like Idleshire) is that many view them as obnoxious when trying to interact with npcs/players and a mounted player is blocking that interaction. To just being an eyesore.
Don't believe me? Well, when the WoW exodus was going on. A certain Baldy adventurer and big WoW streamer was playing ff14 for the first time. Having fun! However, whether to troll or just hate him, players would ride on mounts over or close to where sir Bald was interacting with npc. To try and either block the interaction or the view of it. They got reported and band for x days, of course. But it did happen.
Digimon is definitely a better example for what i would like, i dont want to leave it all to the monster while just issuing commands, nor do i want it to basicly be a meaningless object while im basicly just doing it myself, i want to fight alongside my monster equally

What if they did each pet has its own unique combos and when you setup your loadout you pair BST Actions with the pet's actions and you combo with each other.
my hopes for beastmaster is that they cancel it as a shitty limited job and make it a real job. just make it like wow/ffxi beastmaster
probably we are going to get a pat battle system from WoW
