  1. I use Alive and Nana Kyoku. They are both really heavy and even more if you add RTGI shader on top of them.
I disable what i dont need to like extra blooms and other effects which create unnesessary blur and what not.

Alive you need to tweak and move the FFUIkeep thingy at the bottom, for somereason it has some shader after it which makes the UI affected

One of the main reasons i went with high end GPU even with the current prices

  2. i always pick a gshader based on how messed up it makes alphinauds and alisaie's bangs lol. some of them like DESTROY their hair i dont know what happens. so if it ruins their hair i dont use it because its annoying in cut scenes i cant remember which one im current using… i think it might be ruri gameplay and i boosted the saturation a tad since i like it to be colorful

  3. I use GShade Realism Gameplay ( which is in the default install ) all the time, with some extra sharpening and color turned on in the options. Really hoped to see it in this video but you should really check it out, I'm never going back!

  4. I'll need to give these a try! I normally stick with the espresso setting "Shadowbringers gameplay." It really makes colors pop, and that's it – there's no hit on performance, but colors look 100x better.

Are the ones you showcased included in the base Gshade package?

  5. I use SerenayaRealisimGameplay. It's really vivid without being too warm and making whites mega orange which I find happens with most of the colour enhancing ones. I use Talim shaders constantly for gpose though as they are amazing 💜

  6. Another preset I'd recommend (which is what I'm using) is Nightingale Studio. Similar to other ones you showed, it liven up the colors. What I like about this preset is that it doesn't just grab the Saturation value and crank it to 100 like many other presets do. This preset, though not too much, does have noticeable effects on FPS (mine went from 120 to 90), so maybe it's better fitted for someone with a decent machine, but it looks really nice and doesn't change the signature look of FF14. The only case have I seen it gets too bright for me is in the Aitia Scope dungeon in Endwalker, but honestly, that dungeon hurts even without any Gshade lol

  8. From my point of view, the washed out greenish-grey effect that the game has does a disservice to the beautiful zones we go through, specially Mor Dhona, Lakeland and Il Mheg. As such, I went ahead and tweaked the Gshade Project Crystal a bit as it looked the most like what I wanted for the game: i.e starker contrasts, darker shadows and more vivid blues. And I did this namely because my main's hair color dark purple with blue highlights and I didn't like how washed out his hair looked.

  9. One thing I've noticed about almost all of the shaders I've looked at, is that they give red cast to everything – maybe its an alteration of the lighting, as flames would have more red to their hue. But unfortunately it can cause some issues if there isa lot of red already present, in the form of furniture or whatnot.
I was at an RP event last week, using Alive 3.0, and there was a lot of red furniture and carpeting, and it made certain skin-tones look like they were badly sunburned – male and female raen with a caucasian skin tone, female miqote with the same and dark hair, etc. It was inconsistent and weird as hell, and I couldnt figure out what exactly ws causing it. I switched to Alive 4.01 and its been better, but Im concerned it will come back :
Finding a shader that doesnt give things more red to it would be nice – all the ones in this video do, which can be seen if you look at their skin :
Not any complaints about the video, just a bit of stream-of-thought with my experiences with shaders :

i have tried every shader on the application but this is the only one that looks the best in my opinion

  12. what is considered powerful?
started playing playing recently and am on a laptop (cpu is amd r9 5900hx, rtx 3070 and can adjust the tdp or something alike). I don't mind noise as I am playing with headphones with noise cancellation
