  1. I know Ala Mihgo got done dirty, but could you maybe do something like this, but predicting how Ala Mihgo in the fictional future could develop? Decades, maybe centuries beyond its liberation, based on the culture it acme from and the influences under Garlean rule?

  2. 12:10 about entertainment, don't limit it to Gold Saucer. Don't forget the Coliseum, which the Blue Mages and Gladiators are involved and their gambling hall near the Pugilist Guild

As long as you know with what kind of work most of Syndicates are involved, there should be a plethora of how they make their money.

  3. An awesome long one! Would there be any chance you could create a lecture on aetherochemistry? There seems to be like no information on how it was actually supposed to work or how it was manufactured that I could really find.

  4. Ishgard’s strong sense of community feels like a recent development, let’s not forget this was the country that had the less fortunate folk housing at the very edge of its walls with little to no protection from dragon attacks.

Plus it’s intolerance to it’s own people if you’re not of royal blood. And even if a Hyurian lass managed to bed Elezen head of an estate her poor offspring will be ostracised by the townsfolk <.<

  5. Forgot to mention that Old Sharlayan was founded by the remnants of M’hach and Amdapor; so you’ve got a city state founded by the brightest of the 5th astral era’s superpowers

Which brings up the other reason they were left alone; as an invasion may find themselves against a host of magi all working together

  6. Well, that was a nice video, I've never heard of FFXIV Fun Facts before and they did a great job as co-host! It'd be cool to see them here again sometime!
The thumbnail of the video made it seem as though you were going to calculate the appropriate cost of each sized plot in gil. Curiosity got the better of me and I'm glad it did, because this was a lot of fun to watch!
To throw my hat into the ring, I decided on:

    Thavnair!
    Radz-At-Han has everything I want.
An island that is far enough away from the three great continents to feel isolated, yet still an integral hub for trade.
A government run by Vrtra, the BEST BOY!
The Radiant Host is actually my favorite military body in the game. I'd have Kamino sign up if I could.
Alchemical supplies from the Great Work could outmatch anything coming from Ul'dah, and for a SMN main, that's a definite plus!
Where else can you get those world-famous onions in your everyday cuisine?? Thavnair is a vegetarian's paradise!
I adore the Arkasodara, the amalgamized culture of many different people is something that greatly appeals to me.
Apologies for gushing, but I just LOVE Thavnair! The sights, sounds, people, colors, foods… all of it! I love everything the place has to offer, and if housing became available there, I'd move Kamino from the Sultana's Breath in a heartbeat.

  7. I would think Ishgard's military is too specialized in fighting dragons and heretics, that facing outside forces like Garleans would require different tactics learned from their neighbors. And man, Sharlayan is kinda brilliant in uses its own open hand way of defending itself by being so unappealing to "conquer." I'm so glad you two got to collab! I love following both of your works!

  8. One thing I don't believe was mentioned in terms of Ul'Dahn economy (lot to cover there, to be fair) is their unique position as a bed of ceruleum and its trade; With the Garleans all but monopolising any and all available ceruleum deposits pretty much everywhere else in the world, Northern Thanalan stands out in being not only a non Garlean trader of the resource, but a non Ilsabardan one
