  1. I would love to live in a world where I can see what people create with their minds… It's called art dude. I get what you're saying, but it seemed funny to me.

  2. It’s not a paradox. You were sent back about a flower. Even with the story as it is, you still get sent back about the flower. It was never about solving anything, meeting people, or the like. The flower solves it all.

  3. When Meteion interrupted our exposition with "Greetings, Can you hear me?" I was expecting cosmic horror aliens; not expecting deep existential horror amplified through a naive empath. It was SUCH good writing; it made the theme of the game far more relatable, and the issues we had to deal with in the game so much more complex. Hydaelyn stopped Zodiark not simply because it had tempered mankind into sacrificing more and more lives to feed it; but that humanity itself would have sacrificed everything for a perfection that could never be achieved. To sunder mankind that we would have to experience suffering, and learn to live with it.

Also, if Meteion means "Shooting Star" and is a similar root to "Meteor", I think "Bringer of Ends" is a fairly apt connection for an object responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs.

  4. Journal: "Intelligent bipedal wolf can use tools, we should make it talk!"

    Lupin: exist

Jesse: "Walking, talking cat people… who'd want that?"

Me: cries in no playable Lupin

  5. Been waiting for this to drop. The final parts of the Elpis MSQ was absolutely heart wrenching.
5:45 This was such an amazing moment. Who wouldn't want to take the chance to be a part of a team comprised of the 3 amazing ancients of their time?
14:21 Definitely a troll move by the devs
36:51 Well, time for round 2 against this guy in this expansion
43:56 Such an amazing cutscene that had me at the edge of my seat. Everyone's performance was perfect, especially Meteion's
1:01:01 Really like how they handled this closed loop. All things considered it could've handled the time travel thing a lot worse
1:03:08 To be fair, I don't think a lot of people expected the embodiment of Twitter(now in its dark mode)to be the villain of this expansion
1:11:31 Still unsure to consider Meteion an 11th hour villain, simce they left the source of the final days so open-ended it literally could've been anything at this point
1:14:23 YES! I don't know why the ancients weren't taking good care of their mental health
1:19:11 Such a funny moment. Everyone in chat got blueballed by this moment since Jesse hadn't picked up all the aether currents yet.
    1:24:00 🤣🤣🤣
1:29:04 And we thought Emet's duty was bad, Hydaelyn had a long road ahead of her. And yes, Jesse was correct as to why the loporrits looks as they are. Urianger explained this when the characters first saw them
1:35:11 What an amazing scene. Took me a second to realized I wasn't supposed to take what I'm seeing literally. "Henceforth, he shall walk" gave me goosebumps
1:48:20 Dang pollens, so annoying at this time of the year
1:53:08 Imagine hearing this out of context

  6. My theory is that every "Warrior of Light" that Hydaelyn meets is different, a reincarnated Azem in a different form even if their soul remains the same. Remember that Graha tia said that they could not alter their current timeline but rather create a NEW timeline when he did and started Shadowbringers.

A different WoL, met Hydaelyn in YOUR timeline, setting a chain of events that caused Lil' JC (or your WoL) to go back in time, creating a DIFFERENT timeline where that Venat will shepherd a different WoL to eventually go to Elpis. Every time someone goes back to Elpis, a new slightly different timeline is created and prevents paradoxes.

It's a literal, canon explanation for every single WoL in the game.
