Can you do a video with melds and everything for if you have all HQ materials? Like do you need all these max melds and everything if you HQ all mats. Can it be 1 button macro?

Or maybe a vid with light weapon/tool melds and expensive body/ right side. I usually don’t have issues doing expensive body/right side melds but I despise doing all the weapons..

  2. thanks so much Ashe, you're the goat as always. i waited for the recipes to come out as well to do my final melds. i came up around 100 ctrl short of yours but somehow 100 more crft, my melds were not cheap but not as expensive as yours I only need one more hq mat than yours here so not bad. One other thing about not having to hq so many mats is it's time consuming and time is precious.

  3. Crafting used to be like a legitimate endgame and only a few big crafters per server. They simplified it so much that everyone and their mom can HQ all the new best year. It doesn’t even feel good anymore I miss HW and SB crafting.

  4. just want to point out to everybody…

ashe could have done this on 7.0, but claimed it didn't need to be done because he wanted to save money (similar to Jeff Bezsos saying he's going to take a bus in order to save on gas money – just weird and ridiculous).
and, just to make it abundantly clear, ashe has now in-fact spent the money/materia on what he said you and I did NOT need to spend on – gear that has existed since 7.0.
ashe, did you just now realize you're not getting new crafter gear until november and realized (contrary to what you've told everybody) that you did actually need to pentameld?

by the way, just to keep people properly informed, pentamelding secondaries and accessories will last you until AUGUST 2025.

btw, worked perfect for the melds from the videos. Just use Rroneek Steak for the 35 durability macro. For the 70 durability craft, use Cunning Craftsman's Tisane AND Rroneek Steak incl. 2 HQ mats (2 gemsaps in that case).

  6. You can get 90% with only a Control+18 and CP +8 in the tools and nothing else. Tried them before I did my tools and still got the 90% on 70/70 and 100% on 35/35. Stats Craftsmanship 4848 Control 4984 CP 627

  7. It's worth mentioning that you can be cheap on the tool melds and get nearly identical results (if you use more HQ materials, then the full melds are overkill anyways). For instance, I only put in the guaranteed Command XII slots on both tools, and then Cunning IX was the only overmeld in order to get the CP to do the macros. This is a huge money saver because then you only have to do crazy overmelding for the 10 shared gear pieces, and not for all 16 tools for every crafting job.
