I harkened back to 6 years old and finding her cave for the first time, the blind old witch Matoya unable to see without her Crystal ball surrounded by walking brooms that spoke backwards….By the time I defeated Astos and found a crystal ball I forgotten she needed it.
I always imagine our WoL standing in the field surrounded by fallen enemies, dust, smoke, and a huge bahamut. We look around for our group and they're no where to be seen, so we turn around to leave. Coming through the dust and ash is a voice "XAVIUS!!"(my characters name) and the entirety of your friends run to greet you, then 0:42 hits.
This is a song I can always listen to whenever I want to cry. Going through the crisis that I'll be forever alone, forgotten, and live a life without being loved.
Such a wonderful and peaceful OST
This is such a great song to listen to. Especially on a cool rainy day.
Makes me feel old and sad at the same time. But a beautiful rendition of an already great classic
This is the moment when you realized you really were playing a Final Fantasy game.

When I first found Matoyas cave I was dumb struck by the song I had not heard in two decades. Someday I will be an old scholar too.
