Ina Will NOT Stream FFXIV, And Here's Why.

Everyone has a “Comfort Game”, I believe FFXIV happens to be Ina’s.

  1. So, she would play with other members but wouldn't stream it herself. I really do just want to see everyone group up and conquer things like trials or raids because I think it could be a fun time. Even with randoms, seeing the progress everyone in my PF group had from doing EX1 for Endwalker was satisfying.

  2. I know a lot people consider streaming to be a sort of dream job, but it comes at a major cost. Namely, it takes the games you used to play in your free time to relax and unwind, and turns them into mentally taxing work.

I don't blame her at all for wanting to leave at least some games that she likes the most aside as her own personal leisure time activity.

  3. I mean… the streams will just be ruined by assholes stream sniping her and crowding around her like wild animals the whole time. So I guess it’s best to not stream it even if she was comfortable with streaming the game.

  4. Ina's a veteran FFXIV player. Doesn't stream it.
Fubuki and Iroha are also FFXIV players. Not streaming Endwalker, either.
Botan allegedly reached Predator rank in APEX. Ask me if she's streamed APEX yet.

It's fine that you want to protect the one game franchise you sunk dozens of hours into from turning into something else, but that's also the single most anticipated thing your fanbase is looking forward to.
It's like Gura and rhythm games, Botan and FPS, Suisei and singing, Korone and retro games. People want to see their favorite streamer do something they're known for and be amazing at it.

It's an opportunity that is guaranteed to turn heads, but Ina just prefers not to because of the reasons in the video. A shame, but that's her decision.

  5. The "real" answer is… before she joined Hololive she was very "sweaty" with the game, she has a couple orange parses on a few bosses I believe. She probably doesn't have the time to dedicate to that anymore and doesn't want certain people coming out of the woodwork about that.

  6. Hey man
That’s very respectable and fair. We understand that (I would hope most if not all of us anyway) some games are separate from stream games so
    Understandable, Ina
    Have fun

  7. its very understandable, mmos are usually more fun with you doing it at your own pace, its no fun being hounded by rabbid fans even with the bannable harassment protection thing

  8. Kinda understand why she wants to make it this way. It's her game of comfort where she can chill or challenge herself at her own pace, and we all have a game like that. Streaming it would detriment that comfort because of how regularly you'll do that, not to mention I heard that Ina was one of the best Scholars(healer job) in her server in a period where she was too addicted to the game. The amount of work you would need to do to be one of those is too much, and I'm sure she already realized that when she stopped her addiction.
This could be one of the other reasons she doesn't want to stream FFXIV, maybe she doesn't want to be addicted again, or she doesn't want the game not to be fun for her anymore if she merges it with the regularity of her work as Ninomae Ina'nis.

  9. I dont play FF14 but it would be the same with any mmorpg. Even if people is nice like in Irys stream, its not normal to have people waving at you in every corner or accepting a solo quest that turns into a party one with no reason at all. It ruins the experience.

  10. I agree with everyone here in the comments. Streaming can be someone's job especially if it's full time. So if you have to stream FFXIV, then it would feel like your working when it should be your relaxation time. Instead of playing whenever you want to, now you have to follow the live stream schedule.

Here's an idea though. I was thinking maybe you can record your playthrough and then make a highlight video of your reactions such as expansion trailers, the ending of the main MSQ and post MSQ in each expansion, and/or funny moments throughout your adventures.

  11. Well.. understandable. To streamer playing game is basically doing a work and lot of them sacrifice their own private time and space to doing these job. Playing MMO on stream is a nightmare especially the game is one of your favorite. Most of fanbase may behave themselves really good and let streamer or Vtuber doing whatever they like but that not stopping the troll and such that going to try and ruin other exp for whatever reason I can't really think of…
