Of course, the market is ever changing and stuff like materia is ALWAYS more lucrative when new gear is coming out, especially crafted gear for savage raid tiers, so keep that in mind.

I spent nearly 6 million gil, getting all crafters to 100. I needa make it bk, and then some.
tip in same category as buying maps on mb and then selling them: buy the 7,5m mount from S9 and sell it for like 7,9mil and still lose gil

1:30 well to be fair any player could hold 4 maps but its still … questionable .. in the end you dont even can tell if you will got a lot of money … most likely yes … but if for what ever reason the treasure map will stop at a price of 30k or something … your dream of milions will be gone xD
6:25 dont forget the bonus every week you can get for fates its not much xp from there 1 or 2 milion each for 5 and 10 perfect fates i think .. but its still xp for free if you farm fates anyway
the ways to make money in the game is nearly endless … variant dungeons will give "some" good money if you like them but takes time obviously … just crafting things to sell can make a lot of money but you have to watch out for what is selling and where you can make good profit … a garden can lead to some gil for not much effort but a lot of waiting time … some ex trials can give decent money .. just playing the roulette with needed role gives a decent amount of money … depends on what you like to do .. or dont want to … i dont like hunt trains so i would never use that method for example đ
Some additional notes!
-Materia reaches its highest prices whenever there are new raid tiers dropping because that means tons of savage raiders buying crafted gear and overmelding it
-Due to overmelding, often the 11's (XI) will make you more money than the 12's (XII) (but do your own math to be sure).
-Before your retainer can collect something for you, you yourself need to have gathered that item at least once. Also, your retainer cannot level up any higher than you, so if you're 95 on your botanist, your retainer cant level higher than 95.
-You can only sell 1 map on the marketboard at a time per retainer. While you have a map for sale on the marketboard, your retainer cannot hold any additional maps in their inventory.
I just started selling things, and i made a mill, and i was happy. I always forget that there are people with millions of gil, and then there is my whooping 2 millionđ . I have been looking for ways to make more gil, so thank you for this video â€.
Personally I usually rely on my retainers to sell mats. It's slow but I often end up making a few million a week.
Best thing is just to do what you like in game, there is always a way to get a bit of gil out of it.
Sadly FATEs are one of the most boring 'world activities' I've ever encountered in a MMO. I can barely even rank each zone once before I never want to touch a single FATE again… It's just AOE spam for 99% of them, with 1% being the boss FATE's.

All good options for making money, I have not been doing much and made enough to replace the GIL I spent on the mount. Just doing a bit of everything, but hunt trains are amazing.
my retainer is not getting any exp how did you level them? theyre stuck at 90 and i have no idea why
holding a limited number of treasure maps isnt stopping my friends from flooding my mailbox with them.
Update: they've capped mine and several other mailboxes of other friends

I mean some people have maxed out retainers that can each hold a map lol and even if people only had the 2 or so retainers, itâs still not bad advice to say âhey, buy this item that is selling low now but will sell at a higher price later.â
Itâs weirdly juvenile to be all coyly with the âIâm not trying to drag this creatorâ especially when youâre doing the same kind of Gil making video. Thereâs lots and lots of different ways to make money in this game.
Now is not the time to be selling materials for gil. 7.05 is literally this tuesday, and any one of those items in the gathering log you're selling for pennies right now could be worth whole dollars on Tuesday.
people would make more money using the maps they get in map parties than just by selling them. if you have a dedicated party group you can make a considerable amount of money just from the passive income rewards from other's maps. If you do maps on a need if its yours / greed if it isnt ruleset, youre likely to make more.
the mats u can get for bicolor gemstones brings ur retainer as well if u have a fighting class retainer.
thats my tip having a fighting retainer! very helpful and also easy to level and gear up if u give them ur main class.
i know its paid stuff but i also recommend having 4 retainers for each class: 1 botanist, 1 miner, 1 fisher and 1 fighter
The red and blue dyes from Island Sanctuary sell well too. The yellows sell well, but not often. The blacks and whites sell for a lot, but not as much per token as the reds or blues.
I just make my money by having multiple chars with the island on rank 20. Sure, it takes time to come to that point, not the best method for getting gil early on but once reached, everything works automatically and I just need to sell the stuff from the lootboxes or the materia and furniture you can buy on the island. Only need to check once a week and do like 7 – 10 millions just by letting the puppets work for me.
And for even more money, I maybe take one char to do my daily roulettes and sell the stuff my retainers bring me.
If rng is really REALLY nice to me that week, I maybe do the double amount of money per character (you know, dyes, specially jet black sells on my server between 600k – 700k)
In the end, everything which includes the MB is a bit of rng. Do the things sell good and quick? To which prices does it sell on your server? How much is it needed in the next weeks? And stuff like that needs to be considered.

Girl you clueless, fire, wind,water, and lightning crystals are going for 140-180 Gil per. Retainers bring back 120 at a time, that's a free 40k every 40 mins, if you have 2 retainers if you have 6 like I do, I get roughly 140k every 40 minutes on top of what you are gathering already. This is on primal aether and crystal.
For gathering materia, pentameld ur set with cheap materia, use spiritbond potion, buy moonstones for company seals to get king cake. Also adds spirit bond, go around gathering og script nodes and you will 100% spirit bond 11 peices of gear on top of the og scripts
