The 5.4 rework for monk was an awesome start to streamline the final fantasy 14 monk rotations, but I think there are a few things that can still be improved from my experience in 5.5 for Endwalker that can really make monk a unique class. I share my thoughts on two things that can be improved to bring out the best of my favorite DPS class.

What changes would you like to see with your class heading into Endwalker? These changes would be such a great move for monk
Just came back to the game after the 5.4 monk changes, and monks feels a lot less satisfying to play now. Rather than completely getting rid of greased lightning, I would have preferred quality of life changes that made it easier to build up and maintain like increasing the duration of greased lightning and/or making it only drop 1 stack at a time instead of the entire thing. Tornado kick could have still used up all the GL stacks, but maybe Six-sided star could have been a long CD skill that gives 2 or 3 GL stacks. Making anatman a GL building skill only usable out-of-combat would have been nice to use before boss fights. As for endwalker, they could maybe combine fists of fire/wind/earth into one. Name it something like Holy fists in honor of Hamon Holyfist, since people pretty much only use fists of fire now anyway.
I always wanted a Chakra to build when you finished a courel form action.
I so wish the animations flowed together a bit more so it felt a little more rhythmic once you get moving, I also wish that the animations didnt overlap because I like to see them play out, they look to good to cut the animations short.
I'm a completely new sprout something I feel like monk is missing from my new player perspective hitting positionals don't feel rewarding enough. I'm hoping they add some kind of trait that either gives you a stacking damage buff per positional hit OR a stacking weakness (vulnerability up) on the target per positional hit.
And you would lose it when you fail to hit a positional.
Monk THE positional classes and we should be rewarded for doing so
Edit: I didn't watch the whole video and then after I made the comment I press play and you immediately said something similar to my idea I think what we all want is positional rewards haha!
First get rid of fists of wind and earth pointless rework six sided star and anatman maybe make six sided star like 1000 potency like sams move but you can only use it when under the effect of perfect balance
Slowly unlocking stronger and different versions of OGCDs depending on how many chakras you have, somewhat like ninjutsu(because it's different versions of like three skills rather than many skills).
I want an extra effect on perfect balance where activating it freezes the timer for twin snakes until all perfect balance stacks are gone. Or just make twin snakes longer.
MAKE. TWINSNAKES. LONGER.

The endwalker changes have me swapping off monk. Played monk for 90% of the game (not counting lvling other jobs) and thats 223 days of In game time and monk main since 3.0
