  1. I was on the Corsair + Pictomancer train, but someone pointed out that one of the original creators of TMNT is Kevin B. Eastman and it makes me wonder if that could be a hint too. Either as another point to the Kojin (Geomancer) or Beastman => Beastmaster.

There are far too many ways to read that t-shirt.

  2. I really think that people are reaching on these jobs. I don't see how WoL in the trailer could be anything but a corsair/pirate themed job. He literally looks like Orlando Bloom from Pirates of the Caribbean. I'd reallllly be willing to put my bet on corsair (pirate themed)/pictomancer OR geomancer. I don't get how people are getting blade master/weapon master…it doesn't make sense to me nor do I really think it will make its way into the game. I just don't understand how people are not connecting the literal WoL in the trailer, he is obviously going to take his cloak off, probably pull out a pistol and fire at the mamool-ja in the final trailer, yoshi-p will come out in JP fanfest wearing that outfit, announce corsair. People guessing the weapon puzzles me too, in the trailer, he is holding a 1-handed sword, he also appears to have something in his hands removed in the final shot of the teaser.
    Kojin also…geomancy, or TMNT also…named after artists…pictomancer.
I think these are the most viable theories in my honest opinion, anything beyond that just feels like a suuuuuuper far reach.

  3. A nun chuck weapon is the only TNMT missing, which can easily share the lone NIN gear. For the second gear, corsair makes some sense, being a mix in between RDM and MCH.

  4. I think the tmnt shirt is to confirm what they showed in the trailer. As for the caster, I'd love for them to make Blue Mage as a real job, but i know that's a reach. So itll probably be geomancer.

  5. Once the idea popped in my head I can't shake it. What if the new scouting weapon is a twin blade like Zidane uses? The trailer could totally cut out the other half of the weapon. The only thing I can't figure out is how you would sheath it

  6. I hate to be a realist about this, but the trailer features WoL in the new job. That’s pretty obvious. He’s using one small sword (A Sabre, or perhaps a Baselard, or some other small sword) with nothing in his offhand, leaving that hand free to do OTHER things (like pull a gun, a jar of dirt, or some other surprise mechanic). As others have said, he LOOKS like Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean. The TShirt is very unlikely to tease the other job when this one is relatively obvious. How do we get to Pirate/Corsair/Swashbuckler (Probably Corsair) from TMNT? Pretty easily, actually. Tortuga is an island in the Caribbean which is famous for pirate activity. It was also featured in the Pirates movies. Tortuga is Spanish for Turtle. Turtle = Tortuga = Pirates = Corsair. We’ll get the official Corsair reveal in EU as well as a new TShirt to tease the caster job, which they’ll showcase at JP. ^_^v

  7. I think a cool job concept (more than corsair or whatever) would be one inspired by Clive from FF16. A one hand sword with empty off-hand being instant magic. Implementing the magic as ogcds while doing combos kind of like magic burst with perhaps a really cool transformation phase. Just the way derplander's face when his cloak was on fire the flames were in the shape of an eye giving an allusion of a transformation. The shirt does say "Mutant Mayhem" on it. So, a beastly or eikonic transformation would look like and be thematically similar to humanoid mutations.

As for magic class, I think pictomancer is most likely. I think it would be cool if it was a magic class that focused around using both dark and light magic channeled through art like in bravely default 2 with a touch of Relm inspiration. We don't really have a light using dps yet. Plus a class that uses both light and dark elements would be pretty cool.

Isn't AST already the time mage of this game? like how scholar is this game's green mage.

  8. The Corsair like class they keep talking about just brings me back to the thought of something like the Buccaneers in Tactics Ogre. Which had a sword and pistol type set up. I would be happy to see something like that here. Majority of the turtles are dual wielding their weapons as well. Can’t wait to find out what it turns out to be!

  9. What about Esper as the caster job ? Espers from early FF games were translated as Mutants in English. Of course in those games espers were members of a race with special affinity to magic or so I think
