  1. It really is inspiring to see dad gamers working to reach their goals! For myself, I had to address the relationship I had with food/drink and how I used it as a bad coping habit! Thank you for sharing! (P.s. – controller guides are top notch!)

  2. Congrats on finally founding the issue, solving it, and seeing some results in your weight loss battle.

I'm not a guy, but I do have a similar problem. I've been big my WHOLE entire life despite being very active. It's not easy losing the weight, I'm a healthy big person and 5"11 so all the extra weight does have alot of cons. Hopefully I start seeing results myself like you have.

I too play ALOT of games, but I'm a super casual person so, even though I do other things I don't completely cut out gaming every now and then.
I do understand you do have a family, goals, aspirations, dreams, plans for the future. But don't forget it's ok to be a super casual. If you still wanna make gaming content then it's best to put it on a schedule for certain days and amount of time during the week.

  3. I’d say get the kiddos at a gym that does judo and bjj! If they end up wanting to compete in bjj when they get older theyll thank you for it lol i wish i had some background in judo at bjj comps for takedowns

  4. 38.8lbs in the last 15 weeks for me. Keep it going!! (I’m 6’2” 286.2 now) – I’m sure you got a system, but my cheat code was working myself up to an hour of walking in the treadmill uphill 3x a week with dieting. But I also lift 2x a week. If you ever hit a wall, trust me it’ll break it.

  5. Good stuff man. Also left the game for similar reasons. Glad to have had the memories of playing with a few kind folk and also checking in with you. Cheers to your current and future goals

  6. I was hoping for ffxiv news since the game just dropped the new class and would like to hear your thoughts on it. But this video also made my day regardless. Weightloss, baby #6, comedian success, all good news! Super happy for you and God bless!

  7. Definitely enroll the kids in jujitsu! My son does karate, but my husband does bjj and they are both thriving physically and mentally. Your kids will definitely benefit from discipline too! (Mine has ADD and competing keeps him focused)

  8. Good job man on the weight loss !! I was 350lbs on January 2020. I am now 198lbs.

It took me 1 year to lose 150lbs. Switching to a vegan diet has been a BLESSING.

Keep it up Brian ! You can do it

  9. Alright, as a gamer dad myself, I gotta ask…

How the hell do you fit it all in? You have six kids, you’re working out, doing stand up, AND playing MMOs?

Your time management skills must be legendary.

  10. I cant believe its already been a whole year! Congrats on everything. You are definitely missed.

I remember i bought 2.0 and quit because i had never played an mmo and i started as a pld. I was so overwhelmed and at the time we didnt have youtubers like you guys breaking it down and making easier to consume.
Year after year, expansion after expansion, i'd try to come back and fail.

A little before shadowbringers, a friend would show me the trailer and i was hyped! I didnt know what was going on but the music, some of the characters i recognized, it made me want to try again. And i saw a video from larrysaur about jobs, it helped me try bard, but i still really hadnt figured out about my layout. Enter your channel, i stumbled across it looking for a controller guide since i played on ps3/ps4(now pc). It changed my life. The button layout made sense, and i played from arr to the end of shadowbringers as a bard.

Endwalker i tried out reaper. Since it was a new job you didnt have a guide out for it, but aha! Your past guide on putting single rotation on the right and aoe on the left stayed in my brain. So i was able to make my way through endwalker with my own controller.

Your guides on tanking helped me with my tank anxiety and i plan to one day tackle healing. 😅 but ive watched all of your ffxiv videos. Now im an omnicrafter, with most everything at level 80. I still use your videos. Heck today i needed to rework my dancer and i used your last video on it.

The ffxiv community has lost an amazing content creator. As a fellow dad and creator myself, i get it and i wish you all the best. Just wanted to let you know about how much of an impact you have had on my life. Seriously thank you so much!
