  1. SPOILERS

A hero who became a villain to save his people, taking up the armour and name of a fallen friend in hopes of carrying on his legacy. No matter the cost, no matter the foe, he will have the name Golbez remembered as the saviour of the world. His friend deserves no less…

  2. Soken really hit this remake on the head. It’s perfect. Perfect recreation of the FF4 theme added with everything needed from FF14 to make this theme special. It really fits the moment

  3. One thing that made me love this song much much more is you can hear Zero's Domain theme in this song starting at 1:32. I like that despite Golbez being the major focus you still manage to incorporate Zero into this song, using the more heroic parts of it.

  4. Beautiful masterpiece! FF4 main theme mixed with Four Fiends, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine such a coupling! The only small disappointment I can think of is I wished they would've used even just a snippet of Golbez, Clad in Darkness during the fight, like they did with Barbariccia and the snes version of Four Fiends. But that's not even a big deal, cause the sheer beauty of this OST is just, overall..perfection.

  5. I will continue to go on record as saying FF4 is my least favorite entry.
But I will never, ever, ever, ever say a bad word against its OST. Battle Against The Four Fiends is just that damn good, along with everything else in the soundtrack.

  6. Theres only one reason i can think of that this wasnt the Organ theme of 'Golbez, Clad in Darkness' and it deals with what we see in a crystal right before the fight…
