Well well… People told me to check Gshade, and damn: they were RIGHT. I’m stunned how it helps the incredible assets Creative Business Unity 3 made, and how much it elevates the

  1. The effect is basically "make the rest of the game look like Shadowbringers quality". Very first quest of ShB and you notice a ridiculous difference in gfx quality compared to what you saw up to that point. My eyes actually had to adjust to the difference.

  2. Would really like Bellular to do a look at Fr4nsson's hotbar config. really addresses an issue that you don't even realize you're having till you get it with the quasi random placement of abilities byt the base game as you obtain them.

  3. The main problem I have with things like gshade, is that the settings are never very good for all situations. They're good at making certain scenes or situations look really good for a short period of time. To get the best use out of it, You kind of need to make multiple presets, and toggle between them based on your setting.

One big negative to amping up post processing (it shows in this video even) is that it plays hell on shadows. In some narrow situations it increases certain things like jawline definitions, but then in many other situations, the facial features can be completely lost in shadows.

Most of the time, increasing saturation even a tiny amount makes a lot of stuff look a bit blown out. Unfortunately the moment you turn it off after your eyes have adjusted to the oversaturated look, it makes everything seem even more drab and washed out than it really is.

  4. I don't use G-shade because after seeing the difference between 60 FPS and 120 FPS, I value the higher FPS far more than the reshading. How smooth everything moves at higher frame rates is life changing.

  5. Eh, I do not like the gshade results, at least what's shown here. It just looks like the saturation is turned up and it throws the entire palette off. Everything is too strong. Colors look like they're glowing. To each their own, but this is definitely not for me.

  6. Parsers will only get you banned if you're talking about them ingame, ESPECIALLY if you are doing it to a group that they don't want it and you are using it to meter-shame people. Otherwise, parsers are fine… just don't be an ass with them.

  7. Ive tried so things on gshade, and yes, the game looks more vibrant and colorful, and I'm glad to have seen that, but I uninstalled gshade, im sorry, but a game could have colored rectangles for all I care and Id still play it, visuals just dont appeal to me

  8. This is the rabbit hole, and G-shade is just the beginning. Lots of work has gone into other supplementary visual upgrades, especially on the model and texture front. If Bellular gets a chance to try out the upgraded character textures, I think it would take his MSQ experience more than a couple steps above it's current quality. I only discovered them after MSQ but altogether (G-shade and texture mods), it often makes the cutscenes look as though they are from a game that came out in the last 3 years as opposed to one from the first half of the last decade.

  9. As a heavy christian , Literally I weigh 650, the terms and conditions give my soul over to them which I do not agree with and sadly renders me unable to use this just like I can't use my legs :/

  10. Gshade is so nice, Ive been using an old preset since 2016 back before gshade was a standalone thing, I still use the preset today its called "No More Washed Out Colors" I only lose about 3-5 fps, but its still one of my favorit presets. I might have to check out some of the presets that gshade has though, to see if I find one I like more with the same fps hit. I havent looked around the presets in a while.

  11. As much as I love GShade and other external plugins like FFXIVQuickLauncher, I'm not sure that actively advertising these addons is a good idea due to the game's ToS. Using them on stream is generally ok, but straight up endorsing them in a public video at a time when a lot of people are looking towards your channel? Not sure that's wise.

  12. Did you just say WoW's graphics are crisp, stylized and timeless? More look outdated and ugly as sin, it burns my eyes just looking at everything in the game.
Reshade makes the game look more toonish, don't like it.

  13. As a person with almost decade long expirience in hardcore skyrim modding – try it if you want, but dont expect much. All of the reshades are a placebo and eat tons of performance for little to none actual impact. Do not expect miracles.

  14. The color grading out of the box isn't neutral though, it's a green hint.
There are numerous reshade mods that fix only that. For anyone who can't sacrifice more fps.
Can't unsee that green filter change after.
